Am I the only one who thinks that the fact that they changed some of the looks of the school (including completely reconstructing the library) makes them look like a bunch of wimps? I mean, they pretty much left Auswitch alone for the most part for the future tourists, but for a school, no, they had to replace the things that would remind people of that one fateful day.

@womo1975 I don't think that's true. They entered the building while they were still shooting but had to clear the school room by room and it took a long time because they had to convince the teachers and students that they were not the bad guys and that they would lead them to safety.

This is not a hard problem to solve. Arm the students and teachers. BLAM no more mass killings in the schools. Have you people not realized that all the shootings happen in the schools? Its because guns are banned there. I can open carry a gun, without a licence, at age 18 in the state of PA. And I think there are only 13 or less states where you cannot carry whatsoever. Which is retarded. But anyway, having the majority of people armed makes everything safer.

I've said that plenty of times! That the police can never get to a location where there's a gun situation right away so if other people there right at that moment have a gun, they can stop it quicker than the police can. Taking away all guns 100% didn't work in Britain, wont work in the United States Everything went up once they were banned If somebody really wants to get a gun, they'll get it legal or not. If you look at murder statistics they were lower when everyone was allowed to carry guns.

@skaterock7734 not all shootings occur there. police stations and military bases are sometimes raided. on april 6 1999, 2 weeks before the columbine massacres, a guy named pierre lebrun walked into an OC transpo station in a garage at the st. laurent mall and started to massacre all his bus driver workmates. largely because they use to insult him and beat him with pipes and such and his employers threaten to fire him for complaining about it.
