what tool or plugin did you use for the text bubbles? I may have just missed in all the time lapsing the step of creating an extra vertex on a vector circle, but it look like one solid movement/tool.

Really cool, I love your sort of loose style of inking. Well . . . it's not loose, but it has a kind of tight/almost sloppy feel in the lines that I really like. That's impossible to do unless you know what the hell you're doing, and I don't. Nice one!
