We are being denied visas for after july 1st, and then the state-run media in china says its not true. When will the chinese reporters ask us the real situation and report on it. China has state controlled media, one of the world's worst human rights record, the world's highest level of pollution - in some cities it is so bad you never see the sun. We are being denied visas for after july 1st, and then the state-run media in china says its not true. When will the chinese reporters ask us the real situation and report on it. How do you know that the tibetans would live better or not under the dalai lama? Just like, how do you know what china would be like if the nationalists won the civil war. Have you been to tibet? Can you people just give the Chinese government more time? things have improved dramatically over the past 10 years; there is a transition period. You can't expect China to become a democratic nation overnight. As long as the government is not heading backward it is apparently in the right direction that people have far more freedom and live better.
