nice beautiful houses.the sad thing is, just a block away there are woman and children begging for food and money.ive seen a lot of this when i was in cambodia.i brought 500 dollars(im cambodian american) to help these poor people out.im so happy that i was at least able to give them something.i can back to the US with less then 10 dollars
@tinkybee1, yes they are snotty but I bet u that most of these pple weren't born rich n forgot where they come from n most of them are goverment official when are corrupt n pocket the money that were suppose to help out the poor. That's y our country is like this. Hate those motherfucker w/a Passion. They could only compete in Cambodia that's it. Y can't they go to dubi which uses a bently for a taxi cab or any other rich country coz they know that they can't. Hope someday they would fall off
the one thing i don't like about asian ppl is that, they like to put poor ppl down, n they treat them like trash! and the rich like to flash there jewlerys, cars, house. as if there competing each one another. these kind of ppl makes me sick. im not saying all, but most r like that!
one of my friends bough a house in cambodea, and they payed $210,000, for a three story house with 6 bed room, thats a good price! in the U.S my sister payed $250,000 for a 2 small ass bedroom! its better in cambodia!
houses look great. i dnt know why ppl equate high fences to crime. I been to alot of nice places where they had fences like that. Ppl should watch more T.v. celebrities got all types ov gates and private security but they live in great neighbor hoods. I know a country club down the street the whole community gated some even have gates within gates.
you people r fool tha biggest curruption in tha world is beenin played out before ur eyes in america it's call lobbying. Don't judge theses little countries because they r tryin to fallow in tha giant footsteps.. You need wealthy people to attrack wealty people get a clue....
cambodia is to corrupt. the government is so selfish and dont give a shit about their own people.i hope things change and instead of focusing on buliding big now skyscrapers and buildings, i hope they focus on making a fair democracy and helipng out the people who have such a hard life
the man just say that "you're not allowed to record at certain areas" we all know what. Many of those villas/home/mansions were only gained through corruption(s) and infrindgement.
Urgent !!! Dear our Cambodian country men and sisters! Be alert! the Vietnamese are coming to stay our land and take over again like they did before! Please ask our leaders; do not make same mistake!! We should not demonized each others and must unit with the same culture like OUR Thai and Laotian brothers and sisters to fight the Vienamese!! The viet thieves and are very greedy people in the world! they are poeple who used to clain very things belong to them!
These houses are only belong to a handfull of people, especially, high rank army and police and corrupted government staff... poverty still remain in most of the country.... that is ashamed SHIT!
Wow wow big and beautiful houses..But it has a little problem with neiborhood's inmage. Before i buy the house ,i would ask my realtor.. do i have to keep high fence a round the house?the high fence make the neiborhood looks unsafe..safety is the most inportant thing in any family...Not big diamons, not expensive cars and Not a Villas. I am khmer i am not trying to say any bad things about khmer.i go to cambodia every two years.Alot of things to do over there.you have to force me stay in villas.
High fence? You live in America too long or don't know much about Khmer culture or Southeast Asian in general. It's the standard to have high fence to mark clearly where your land is unlike in the US where people just have lawns around their houses instead. Different places, different lifestyles.
lolz, obviously you have no clue what u r talking about. In a lawless and most corroupted country like Cambodia (also known as Scambodia or Mafia state), where common criminal roam free in society, high fence, is the ONLY deterrence to keep those criminal out so they dont rob and cut your throat, and not neccessarily to mark your property line! I've been to Cambodia many times for the last several yrs and realizing that your life worth less than your cellphone in your pocket. What a lifestyle!
I smell a delusional paranoid stranger who can't adapt to his environment and over-exaggerate everything. If high fence means Cambodia is infested with crimes, then the whole Southeast Asia is the same for they also have that type of style for housing. Think before you talk next time or you'll sound stupid agian, ok?
this never ceased to amaze me that an arrogant person can't seem to handle a constructive arguement when he/she is being challenged and often resorting to name calling. Do you, with your right mind, actually think that those high concret fences adorned with sharp broken glasses/bottles on top were placed there just for decoration purpose and for marking the property line? Be real man!!!
Keep up the good work, I shall not return anymore. Point proven.
Leave it to the stupid and ignorant outsiders like yourself to tell Cambodians what is good for them. WOW! You are far up your ass than a gay man in a gang bang.
Those are nice looking houses or villas. I was surfing online and saw this huge house/villa in Cambodia you can rent for US$4000/month. Land/home value has sky rocketed these past 2 years. I don't think I can afford a house in Cambodia anymore. <:] Thanks for posting this!
I agree with you neangmey. I did some research on Cambodia properties/Houses and it is ridiculously expensive and compared it with Thailand properties/House Thailand is way cheaper.
Although they do have houses they also need more schools
