Only a few years ago I 'd never heard of Louis Prima - must have been a lack in my education - but I'm pickin'up steadily. Now our band is taking Prima songs in our repertoire. Timeless swingin' stuff! I love it!

i don't know why people bash louis prima so much. he was a good jolly man. he enjoyed what he did for a living and he showed it. we need more musicains like that. and all his mix of odd sounding words isn't abnormal for this type music. it's swing music. that was often the lyrical form of much of swing.
@TheBaseleader Louis Prima was a fruit case. The animators copied Louis Prima's group dancing around the stage. Listen to some of the nonsense words he fluently throws into his music.

Some kid was complaining that King Louie was "racist" because the guy
who voiced the monkey for "Jungle Book" was a NEGRO.
