Never could understadn why the Lumped Juggernaut with Magneto in those days. they were never a team, and I doubt high that Juggernaut would of taken orders from a Mutant he could clearly mop the floor with.
@LordEli Juggernaut wears a metal helmet with metal bands in his arms, Magneto can control magnetism. Juggernaut wouldn't stand a chance with Magneto
@FireIsTheCIeanser You do realize that those same Metal Band's and helmet you speak of, Aren't earth metal, but Magical Metal which came from the crimson Cosmos? That Magnet could not more effect them than he could Aluminum. Tis Magnet who wouldn't stand a chance against Juggernaut. you need to do research better kid. There is Nothing Magneto has in his Aresnal that would be effective against the Juggernaut only Psyhe attacks with his helmet off can phase him. Megneto would be street pizza.
@LordEli In the Ultimate comics(yeah yeah I know he's weaker there) Juggernaut gets shot in the eye with a poison dart and he ends up dying, Magneto could the do same about 100 times better, and if not then Magneto could just wrap Juggernaut in metal and launch him into space, even if Juggernaut doesn't die, he won't be coming back unless he has a rocket hidden somewhere on him
@FireIsTheCIeanser You how wrong you are? You know how many times in comics in the past they had used that field removal in space and into alternate dimensions they did on Juggernaut countless times. and guess what. He's always made his way back to earth. and since Cytorrak wants Juggernaut on Earth. I think its yeah that simple you don't know your comics Magneto is a powder puff in comparison get a clue
@LordEli Okay first of all, enough with the subtle insults, I didn't do anything to you except disagree, and the only way that would hurt was if you had an extra large ego, which by you name I can see is probably true, and second of all you failed to notice what I said about Magneto shooting a poison dart into Juggernaut's eyes, in turn killing him
@FireIsTheCIeanser Posion couldn't effect Juggernaut, and Juggernaut a far greater resistence to injury and also a very unknown but highly advance magical healing factor. in which case. Juggernaut Kept advancing on a target even when he was reduced to a walking pile of charred bones still alive and function and of course eventually healed and restored himself to the presence he is today. Again I say Magneto is Nothing to the Juggernaut. The Juggernaut would ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALY DESTROY MAGNETO
No place to hide, no place to run, the mutant age, has now begun. X-Men, this is the day, X-Men, come and gone with ease. Magneto's whordes are on the way to pillage, burn, and plunder, but there's one team that will not yield, the team that strives like thunder. X-Men, this is the day, X-Men, coming your way.
really dont get out this series never picked up. the episode was beast and really only had a few problems with it that can be over looked if you werent a giant fanboy.
@jduttskywalker it's beacuse we're olde now, or the wrong generation listen to this and thinx, today's themes are awesome haha tsk tsk tsk.. I like this better than the 90's x-men cartoon theme haha
You know I love how this cartoon at least had the majority of popular characters for its time. +1 to the original!
The 90's cartoon was epic, but did suffer the failure of not having enough Psylocke, Colossus, and Nightcrawler. That and the 90s Wolverine was WAY better.
I'm a huge enough fan to know every character here.
(Powers, names, backstories)
So to end this, yes this song is not very good. As far as classic cartoons, you can love it all you want. It's nothing compared to well done cartoon themes. (90's X-Men, Transformers original or movie theme, Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers, etc.)
I wanted to hear this, so I followed the link. but of course there's die-hard fans here claiming there's any importance to this mundane theme.
I still have this on VHS. Only thing that bugs me is that the traditionally Canadian character Wolverine has an Australian accent? D'oh! BTW The series that debuted in '92 is still one of the best Marvel television shows ever.
@validusalexander , this cartoon was not a series it was a one shot test run. they had planed to make it a series after getting a good responce but it was delayed untill the 90's version finally came out. this cartoon was good and matched the 80's cartoons of the time.
@MrWarners14 If that's your honest opinion then if once I tell you the reason why this show didn't last beyond the pilot, it might piss you off. From what I've read, this series didn't last beyond the pilot because people thought it's light-hearted feel didn't do the comics justice, since they were more adult in nature.
@MrWarners14 Kind've is, but what I think people failed to realize at the time this was made, that Marvel probably wanted to broaden their audience by appealing to kids since typically kids like Superheroes.
Yes, I'm glad they didn't go through with it and went for the classic 92 series, but I cannot deny the animation looked quite good and comics accurate as well
@mayhem9024 How do u mean reused. I don't recall them re-using old footage. and if they did there sure as hell did it more subtly than the 94 Spidey show
Man I remember my mom buying the vhs that had this spiderman and the fantastic four for me with this on it...shit this theme was and is still...awesome xD
Damn it. I'm trying to find the other X men theme song. The one that goes...."Dunn na na na Dunn, Dunn na na na Dunn Dunn." That one. Remember the X men video game on Sega Genesis in 1993. That X men theme song not this one or that other one but that one. Is that one on youtube?
Love this theme song. Too bad it never aired on tv. That wouldve been cool to see. It wasnt a bad pilot. Wonder why they went through that trouble to make it then it never aired
Before the first X-men series.......this came out first a couple years earlyer... this is the orginal music which is good but so is the music from the the first series it's self.
Why isn't this, Spiderman and his amazing friends, Spiderman '91, Hulk '81 on DVD already? WB is releasing practically everything ever created by DC Comics.
I have the pilot video. It's only too bad the X-MEN animated series wasn't done during the 1989-90 season instead of the 1992-98 time frame. It would have had a better voice cast.
