That is an early design for Bilbo that the Rankin-Bass animators came up with. When they actually got around to making the movie, they realized how ugly it was, and changed it. However, that design somehow managed to find itself into promotional artwork (this record cover, posters, etc.)
Would you believe I tear up listening to this as I remember my childhood? I remember the ending credits are a sienna-colored image of Bilbo sitting in his chair by the fire, with the Ring on the mantelpiece.
Wonderful memories watching this back in my younger days. The movie, although old, still imspires me.
