I think this ones a youngster. It doesn't seem to be cautious and it rests too long on the flowers. The adults are always alert and don't stay too long at any one flower and are almost always hovering when feeding.
I was only a few feet away and she did this for several days without going near my feeder. It was really kind of strange. It was right before she left for the winter. I thought maybe she was fattening up for the trip. :)
