  • Don Humphrey was the original Director for Leon Crosby. I did the audio. We had people who ran camera for free because the was no money to pay people. We could not afford tape so we went out live with 5 million watts. Bob Carr and "Retina Circus" arrives from Seattle. OLsd Sourdough & Chicken Little show with foreigh languages shows.

  • Asmodeus was on the airwaves for less than 2 years. Frank Sheridan was on this Earth for 82 years.

Frank Hugh Sheridan was born in Honolulu in 1928, and died in Kealakekua on the big island of Hawaii on August 26, 2010. He is survived by his wife, three children, numerous grandchildren, and innumerable horror TV fans.

    You know who you are.

  • Can you re-upload this in HD?

  • It's totally Dark Shadows Music at the end.. LOVED that show !!! Used to run home from school to watch it. ! Anyone know where to get full feature films hosted by horror host ?? Mr.Lobo, Zomboo, and Count Gore have a bunch... Always looking for new stuff !

  • The cue title is "Collinwood", which would always be heard when one of "Dark Shadows"' characters would gather by the Collinwood foyer in the mansion (though it's slightly reminsicent of the opening of Bela Bartok's "Concerto For Orchestra") and can be found on "Original Music From Dark Shadows Vol. 1".

  • When the Overmeyer Network ceased operation in 1967, U.S. Communications (owner of WPHL-TV in Philadelphia) applied to the FCC for Overmeyer's 5 licenses (granted on December 12, 1967). KEMO-TV signed on the air April 1, 1968. With a mixture of locally produced and syndicated programming, the U.S. Communications licensee remained on the air for three years to the day, powering down its transmitter at midnight March 31, 1971 to avoid paying the following month's PG&E electricity bill.

  • Leon A. Crosby Owned Kemo TV from 1971 until he sold it to James Gabbert in 1981.

  • @BlairWitch526, make that 1980. He bought the station, threw out the old equipment, cancelled most of the shows, and made it a great station.

  • Who was the owner of KEMO 20 Before KGO-AM James Gabbert got the station in the 1980's

and made it KTZO and KOFY.

  • It was Leon Crosby.

  • KEMO 20's logo looks like a stop sign

  • I think that' some Dark Shadows music at the end!

  • Ah, yes, the old KEMO-TV dumpster. If I had only known there'd be something called "E-Bay" 30 year in the future . . . Ah well, in the not-too-distant future, I'll be posting a video montage of film commercials from the '60s, 16mm film that I got to BEFORE it was consigned to the dumpster. Watch for it.

  • Find and post some more 1968-71 KEMO T.V. gems in the near future, please!

  • I remember this show. I also remember that it came on earlier in the evening making it possible to see a great movie before my parents made me go to bed.. Good times.

  • thank you for posting this!

  • Amazing! Thank you - I had vague childhood memories of Asmodeus on KEMO-20, and many people thought I was... insane. Many years later, I met others who not only remembered, but had gathered details about the host and the show. But now we have actual KEMO promos - thank you! (I remember digging through the trash cans at KEMO in the early 1970s, as a little twerp, and taking home several commercials, one for the Air Force, one for Kaboom cereal, and one for Thunderbird wine! LOL!)
