you really need to get that kid a folk guitar....he will sound much better....Nyolon aka Classical guitar is mainly a finger picking guitar....get him a steel string guitar....he deserves it

@SLIMTM22 You're wrong my friend. Listen to Jason Mraz. I play a Nylon Cutaway thin body as well and believe me i wouldnt change it for any steel string in the world, and i can play just about any song without losing a tad on quality :)

He does take lessons, but for classical guitar. He's figured everything else out on his own, pretty much--from books and the internet.
