actually sharon, to be honest, "Please Come Home for Christmas" is a song that was originally released in 1960, written and recorded by the American blues singer and pianist Charles Brown. In 1978, rock band the "Eagles" covered and released the song (as heard in this video) as a single, and it reached as high as #18 on the billboard charts. Aaron Neville didn't record his version until much later in 1993.
