  • I was TAD there in '08 as a land nav instructor. Best assignment ever.

  • Was with CAB out of Camp Schwab

  • Man that takes me back. Was there in 2001. Good times

  • @feldhiserbc You must have been one of my instructors! Our unit was the one who did a "chem-light" raid on our sister company. They broke open chem_lights and dumped it on the Marines in their hootches

  • Hellz yeah! One of the best duty assignments I had as a Marine. Instructor Flashbang, JWTC Jungle Shooting, Rough Terrain and Patrolling Instructor 1998!

  • The best Jungle Warfire of the world = Brazillian War in the Jungle (guerra na selva).

  • The best Jungle Warfire of the world = Brazillian War in the Jungle (guerra na selva).

  • wat this is fake the nam bit japan has no jungles to train marines

  • @forget1me14 wow....just wow. i went to this course a month ago. no plane ride. bus ride. so im pretty sure i didnt leave okinawa to get there.

  • @cummins24421 you know all these wanks are in the navy and have probably but fucked each other and the guys who are shouted at those gays are shouting tossers Britain ownes u

  • @forget1me14 lol yea you must be right, thats why the royal marines come here to train with us. thanks for demonstrating that stupidity and ignorance arent confined to the states.

  • @cummins24421 so your saying that we own you train you with best and longest infantry training in world you just owned yourself in many ways lol

  • @forget1me14 yea, exactly what i said. good reading comprehension.

  • @cummins24421 yup i am always the awesome

  • @forget1me14 Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture in Japan, it has plenty of jungle and it never snows. Try going before raising the BS flag.

  • One of my old Marine Corps buddies was one of the instructors in this video. His last name is Keith. I don't know what his rank is now, but would love to hear from him.

    Bane

  • land nav in okinawa sucks! i absolutely hated it. good training though.

  • The simple truth is that so threatening political power, economic and especially the U.S. military are in total decay .. I think the Marines have a weapon, propaganda and nothing mais.No Afghanistan and Iraq, are costing you to take areas taken by guys who do not know what you shoot law.The tell me of Vietnam ... I think that the natural process of stagnation is irrevesivel

  • I will kill many Americans i foreign invaders terrorists in the jungle if I see any.

  • jungle warfare school panama !!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I was an Assistant Instructor at the NTA from 1988-1989. "Peter's Pit Aint Shit !" and "If it aint raining, it aint training."

Oorah! That was a fun year. Typhoon Nelson Party on the roof!

  • i did jwtc right after my small pox vaccine that shit sucked

  • The "Weekend Warrior" @ 4:42 has a mustache way out of regs.

  • Good ol' JWTC. If it ain't rainin, we ain't trainin! Remember Haboo snake, or however you spell it. Haboo sake out in town. Ooohrah! Loved the moto speech at the beginning.

  • Hey where did u guys do JWTC at? the 82nd abn did JOTC in Panama

  • Okinawa, Japan

  • u should watch Indian training @ CIJWS

  • is that Gunny Walgreen at the beginning?

  • I believe so. He's a motivator.

  • I am physically disabled I cannot join the marines.

  • This looks cool but I never understood why US marines say "Hooah" i think "Hooah" sounds retarded, because it isn't even a word! There should be something else.

  • its ooo-rah and you would have to be a Marine to understand it....................maybe if you tried out the Corps youd get it

  • Marines do NOT say Hooah, they say Oorah. Hooah is Army, Hooyah is Navy. people are very picky about it. it's just like a battlecry thing, to pump you up and get you excited and enthusiastic.

  • I went thru JWTC back in 03, loved every minute of it. Thanks for the video, brings back some good memories. Semper fi!

  • @danieliroberts were there any requirements to go or could you just choose to go. If there were requirements do you know what they are?

    thank you for your service.

  • Went through that in 1992 with Bravo 1/7 wpns plt, based out of Camp Schwab

  • All the low-crawling through the mud and obstacles were there when I went through -- E-course and all. And yes, there was an 5-day non-infantry Jungle Skills Course and (?)-day Jungle Warfare Course for the grunts. As stated in my comments for this piece, this is an abbreviated version for I still must edit the E-course into it. My camera died out due to the thick humidity, and I am working to acquire the footage I couldn't obtain. So in all, this is a work-in-progress so stay tuned!...Ooh Rah

  • So which obstacles are still there? Do you still have Peter's Pit? Low Crawl over the Shan-gai River? Do you still run the Endurance Course at the end of the training package? Do you still have Marines carry a casulty through 1K of jungle on a stretcher made of 2 poles and two Marine Blouses? Is Temple Lake still there? Is it still an 11 day training package for Infantry and a 5 day training package for FSSG?
