  • I love the Canadian Brass and it is a special treat when they play The Beatles

  • ;) muy bueno!!!!

  • lol i miss the time i wasn't even born

  • I'm a sax player and I can't get enough Canadian Brass!

  • thank you for posting this:)

  • "these guys have incredible endurance to be able to play for a solid 10 min"

only 10 minutes?? in concerts they play for at least an hour!!!

  • Aahlen awer ier de Chef!!! That's some Boss' Thing

  • does anyone know where i can buy the score? send me a message plz!

  • That was so kick ass!

  • Three saxophonists watched this video.

  • @deltadawson101 Why saxophonists have to hate brass instruments? (I'm a trumpetter but I'm just curious) :D

  • @midorizuu because they're most definitely jealous of something this awesome.

  • 2 of the greatest bands combine, amazing

  • oooo my trumpet teacher took a lesson from the guy with the beard :D

  • the two that dislike this video are severely mentally challenged.

  • @burquedrummer

    I agree!

  • SUPREMO!!

  • 1 person hate canada and all its brassy glory!

  • just for the record the guy who dislikes this doesn't know what's good^^

  • this is amazing, and even better sounding than the beatles themselves. As a trombonist, I LOVE THIS.

  • Here comes the sun :-)

  • me encanta ESTA INCREIBLE DE LO MEJOR E INCREIBLES METALES ESTO SI ES ENSAMBLE

  • Seems John needs a brass band of his own.

  • Yeah, that's trombone at the end, not horn. You can hear the horn holding an "A" in the chord (just guessing on pitch...no piano handy to check).

  • Nope. Just brass :)

  • are there clarinets involved ???

  • @urbancl Canadian Brass is a ALL BRASS group. Occasionally they will perform as guests with large symphony orchestras and groups like that. but they usually are just by themselves.

  • @urbancl No, thats's a piccolo trumpet I believe.

  • lol sorry man i didnt wanna come off as a duchebag. i just happened to take a notice into it . lol sorry

  • no its not just something! its something. all it is is " something "

  • its not something in the way she moves. its just something

  • Hehe, when you said that, the author "corrected it" to "just something" when you meant just "something".

  • hahaha lol wow

  • Sure is something...

  • Damn, not one song by Lennon. I suppose his songs would be hard to play on classical instruments though, maybe Across the universe.

  • You left out Gene Watts, the trombonist, in your picture.

  • he's in there, 2nd from the left

  • i am looking for sheets for a brass quintet does anyone know any place i can get them?

  • this is a different version of penny lane than the one on the cd, i think the cd ones better, its just different because different arranger/intention. this ones for medley, the other one for just penny lane.

check it out, it should be on youtube

  • penny lane part was my fav! this arangement is kickass!!! the piccolo trumpet solo was soo amazing

  • god damn what a french horn ending!!!

  • @wslb2009 ummm thats not a french horn at the end it's a trombone double tounging every note from the Bb way above the staff to i would say an F on the staff

  • well even still if it is a trombone then it was used with a cup mute then to give it a bit of a higher pitch. its still 1 hell of an ending

  • not really i can do that without a mute and im a 14 year old guy thats been playing the trombone and euphonium for 4 years so i know what im talking about

  • well good for u ive played tuba for 8 years, jazz trombone for 5, and euphonium for 5 years. the only way to do that cleanly is either having a french horn do a "sneeze" technique on it, muting a trombone with a cup mute, or having a trombone-french horn duet at that part mainly being a trade-off idea.

  • if you've been playing trombone for 5 years then you should know that you dont need a fucking mute to do this is sooo easy to do with out one....

  • dude yes u do. + i even called up my college professor to listen to this and he even said theexact same thing as me. trombone with a mute to raise the pitch or french horn. nice try dumb fuck.

  • @wslb2009 , you can clearly year the french horn on concert A in the last chord. it modulates from concert Bb. He's just a really good trombone player

  • ok well since u pointed out the french horn i believe its a trombone now but it is definatly used with a cup mute for fact

  • sorry guys, they have a trombonist, 2 trumpet players, a french horn, and a tuba, that's how its always been

  • @nanoking114 SHUT down

  • @alkemedis23 SHUT the f*** up

  • make up your mind, before you said 5 years..... and if you can do it why not post a video of you doing it, cause i highly doubt you can, you probably can't even hit Bb above the staff

  • hmm you wanna know something really funny? how about 1: i don't have a camara 2: i'm not wasting my time or money on a fag like you and 3: i know i can hit the high Bb above the staff so I DO NOT have to prove it to u

  • for a trumpet, that's not incredibly high, i've been playing 1.5 years and I can easily hit the A above the staff

  • we aren't talking about trumpet we are talking about trombone... and yes i do agree with you it's not incredibly high i've been playing trumpet longer than i've played trombone and i can go above the high C without hesitation so i know what you mean

  • very good version. I love it. Does anyone have got the notes for this piece. Would be cool. Thanks

  • Something*

  • i have the tribute disc to the beatles from canadian brass, it's WONDERFUL.

soon i'm gonna to upload the songs :)

    Penny Lane (Lennon/McCartney) Paul

    Yesterday (Lennon/McCartney) Paul

Here Comes The Sun (Harrison) George

    Hey Jude (Lennon/McCartney) Paul

  • ouch! that last picc. note made my chops hurt! :S

very awesome arrangement though! anyone know where to find it?

  • One of the most beautiful songs to listen !!

  • Can anyone list the order of the songs that they play? Thanks

  • answer in front of you in Part 1

  • Thanks

  • @brandoman this has nothing to do with the song(s), but my name is brando, and I think your name-thingy is awesome... just saying...

  • they were really great

  • Dies sind die besten Musiker die ich je live gasehen und gehört!!

  • fabuloso!!!!!! grandioso!!!!! una agradable noche para escucharlos asi, en todo su explendor!!!

  • Great!, but no lennon songs

  • haha i noticed that too. only paul's

  • They do a couple of Harrison's.

  • here comes the sun just about 6:55

  • well if you listen to the first part. It is a radio show, which no might be pod castted. So there for they put it out in public. So if some one downloaded said pod cast then put some video of the beatles or the CB and up loaded to here, there is nothing wrong with that. So if it was on the radio and you got it... Its yours

  • Great post! I've heard a lot of Canadian Brass tunes but never heard this one. Didn't think they did Beatles before their All You Need is Love album in '98, which you should definitely get if you liked this one.

  • I was asking my self the same thing here

  • i really want this music too!

if anyone finds it please tell me

  • I believe that this music is available through their website, I played a couple of arrangements from this medley with my High School Brass Quintet several years ago.

  • The bearded trumpet player in the picture at :59 is my trumpet professor. Still has that beard, but its snow white now. He's so awesome O_o;

  • where do you study?

  • Mr. Ronald Romm is a professor at UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana Champaigne)

  • thx for that information

  • music of my fav band played by my fav brass ensemble...absolutely beautiful

  • ha, try saying that its not hard to play that long when you have to play piccolo trumpet, thats basically insane

  • This is an amazing medley. I just saw the canadian brass last month. They are so good. And yes they have great endurance but it really isnt that hard to play for that long (I've played french horn for 3 years).

  • well the french horn does hit soem pretty high notes there, they all have amazing chops.

  • Haha, they played this medley last month. It was so amazing. I saw them live too! :)

  • wow. this is such a great arrangement and they play it so well
