What part of upstate ny?! This truck is between Schoharie and Gallupville just off Rt 443. smile....careful what you wish for! I'm thinking of driving it to my property in Guilderland Center, less than 1 mile literally from where it was built.
I had to work......15 1/2 hours according to my logbook.....first time I missed it in a while i think... ,,,we just noticed that walter too! The other stuff.....i dunno....except the blower....sold on ebay last year....i think it went to scrap. I needed the radiator cap, it would have fit my '38 Oshkosh FB wrecker....I just didn't have enough money to beat the scrappers..... The FWD must be safe somewhere.... ...the steam donkey, I have always lusted for one...wanted to winch myself around
Disappointed to not see anyone there today that I knew, the Oshkosh with snowblower is gone? The FWD? The old Allis Chalmers motor grader? Scrapped? The steam donkey? Bates steel mule? Sold or owner left the club? Up by the bridge replacement on rt 30 (used to be Mast?) never noticed that old c. 1950 rusty yellow and black Walter dump truck in the corner of the yard before?
