Look up Atmospheric Black Metal, i believe that is the genre that Summoning is under... Although no two bands are alike most of them truly do bring out a dark atmosphere similar to Summoning.

Although Summoning are indeed quite unique soundwise (and not pure black metal, more a fusion genre), If you like the atmosphere that Summoning evoke in their music you'll probably find something of interest in at least one of the following: Elffor. Avathar. Forlorn. Lord Wind. Drudkh. Valfeanor.
