  • Disgusting

  • incredible, It may sound totally rough and kinda drags on, but using traktor in this way (especially TSP, without the loop recorder in TP2 and S4) is truly astounding, also fucking love the comments you have added in there towards the end, about digital DJing VS conventional. me and my mate were having this discussion and it wasnt untill I showed him some Ean Golden vids and did a controlerist set myself did he realise why its not "cheating"

about to check out your other vids now.

  • man .. snatch one beat (or more) and pitch it up or down ... snatch some bassline .... then melody ... use fx creatively and you might get a bomb, do some different parts, record and do the arrangement and edits in some DAW ...thats what i will do ... got this idea when i first tried traktor last week pitched some tune down and it was even better then the original .... if you wanna do it your way - ableton is way better choice .. anyway traktor seems superb for masups or checking what to semple

  • sound like shiiiiiiiite

  • You'd be better off using Ableton Live bro.

  • @MilfSlayer9000 I don't disagree mate, this was really bending what Traktor is meant for. I'm happy to just leave this as it is as it's just an example/competition entry, plus I don't wanna waste time trying to polish a turd.

  • pretty good dude. im likin it.. check out my videos sometime aswell..

  • pretty good recovery from the software problem there mate, keep it up :)

  • its like some frankestein shit! cool

  • 'sod it, il have a scratch first!' haha quality mate i like it this is some innovative shit!, i thought i was pushin the boat out usin samples and clips in traktor but your gwarnin here...

  • @nedxavier Cheers dude! I pray for the day when NI give's Traktor a well implemented sampler, which will really open the door to some creative shit. I like the fact Traktor isn't designed for stuff like this, which sort of means you gotta play Traktor as an instrument. My fellow dj's and I sync all our kit up, which allows us to play as a band (ish). Once we've worked some good stuff out we'll stick some vids up, so please subscribe if your interested!

  • @djdubadutch your prayers have been answered, assuming the new sampler will be good. being ni it probly will be :)

  • Incredible! I never thought anyone was gonna twist those two tracks into something like this... I come from a turntablist background where it's all about using/misusing your gear to it's full potential to really push the boundaries of creativity. Yet many up and coming controllerists seem to substitute creativity with equipment - remember, what really defines the best controllerists, like Ean or say, Moldover, is great ideas (although I suspect great hair is also important, lol!)

  • great work nice to see. great ad for the nocturn lol

  • Sorry I meant Hot CUE

  • Its nice to see something different from all the other hot juggled styled entries.

  • Hey dude. Nice work. I totally dig the idea.

    Cheers!

  • Right back at ya mate, Traktors full of production orientated fx. I've often thought Traktor bridges the gap between serato & ableton, it's nice to see some one else getting creative, I look forward to seeing more of your work!

  • Thanks for your kind words. I had to map the laptop keyboard to control aspects of traktor as my nano pad stopped working properly, and then to top it off the novation nocturn started to play up last night! The concept is a works in progress, but once my controller situation has improved I'll upload a polished version.

  • Remarkable...interesting sound

  • Badassss! Very cool entry
