I remember back in, 2000 watcing my dog being put to sleep just watching the life in her eyes being sucked away.....and the same day after i came home...my other dog was running around the house looking for her sister.....and just howling....and watching out the front door....just waiting for her to come home.
When I clicked this video I thought it was going to have lucky in it, Then I saw your eyes watering and I gasped and paused the video for around 40 seconds, grabed a kleenex box and sighed... Then I watched again.
oh my. this video reminded me of my dog chester. i loved this dog so much. i can remember the day we brought him home so claerly. And a few years ago he was poisoned by the bad dog food that was shipped over from china. he was shuch a trooper. he made it a whole month. his liver was failing and so was his kidney. they said he could go home.After weeks of being in the hospital they said he could go home. Then the next to days it got worse and worse. he died May 20.
I finally had to put my dog down today and the first person I thought about was you. Age was finally was getting to her and she was going through a lot of pain. It was easier to put her down.
I had figured out what had happened from the other videos, but this is the first time I saw this one... The whole thing was very sad, but I lost it with the paw print thing... I'm very sorry...
I watched her pass away and I know if i had did something about it the night before when i saw her panting and looking like shes really hot temperatured, she would of had a peaceful one. But she died really suddenly and i really want her back. I burried her in our frontyard.and when my mum lowered her down into the whole.i couldnt help my myself.
and now my other dog has heart disease.what should i do?
I am very sorry. That honestly made me cry. My black chihuahua just past away last night and now just taking my other brown chihuahua to the vet, they said he has severe heart disease. His heart is 4 times larger then normal and they say its the first time they have seen it so large. He's on 3 different tablets and after the tablets hes breathing much more better.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our dog, Annie, went through the same disease. For months she had trouble breathing and her heart was enlarged. The morning we decided to put her down, she started eating again and was walking around wagging her tail - it was very difficult, but we didn't want her to suffer for months like one of our pets from 4 years ago - we tried to extend his life and it was miserable for all of us. It was hard coming back home and she wasn't there...take care.

I am sorry for your lose. My wife and I had to two cats that got sick. We did what we could to help them have a good life. There came a point in both cases where they both would not eat. We decided the best thing to do was to put them to sleep. It was a tough decision, but it was the right thing to do.
My wife and I still talk about them from time to time. My four year old son talks about them too. Funny thing is he was 18 months and two and a half when each left us. Take care.
I know how this feels. I had a cat for 18 years of my life, and I always held on to him until he started to get sick. He wasn't himself anymore. Once we brought him to the vet, the doctor said my cat actually had a tumor in him, and hes been in pain all this time. Once we knew, he started kissing us and seemed like he was saying goodbye. He'd usually cry and moan at the doctors but this time he was calm. I'll miss him, but I know it was the right choice. I wish the best for you!

And he told me shes in heaven. she had a tumor and was suffering verry much. when she was alive, if we had pizza, we would give her the crust and call them pizza bones. now i never eat my crust...

Sorry to hear that Lucky is gone. I remember when we had to put our dog down. For the last 3 years of her life she was very sick, and had very little energy. When we took her to the vet the day we put her down, we spent about an hour playing with her at the vet. Throughout this hour, she was like a young puppy again, very energetic.
The loss of a beloved pet is one of the saddest things one can endure. When mine passed on, I lost a friend and companion.., and I still think of him, remembering the joy of when I first brought him home.
I can relate so much to your affection for Lucky, and enjoyed watching your videos with her.
If we didn't have hearts to follow, we would be specks of dirt blowing in the wind without a care, never needing answers to our hearts compulsive questions.
Lucky started another chapter to her journey, and a new chapter is expected from you.
I know Lucky is doing whatever she liked doing the most, or maybe something new, shown to her by a current friend.

Really sorry for your loss, losing a pet can be one of the most heart wrenching things to experience. I can still remember losing my dog, and this brings back memories. Mine was a casualty of me falling asleep at the wheel on the highway.... hit a boulder off the side of the road still going 70. Little guy didn't make it and many people were suprised i made it. Anyways, my deepest condolences for your loss, i know the feeling all to well and it's not a great one.

My vet does the same thing with the paws; when my parent's golden died, they made a paw imprint and sent it to my mom as a wind chime. This was before we knew they did that and I think she cried harder then

I am so sorry for your loss. Our dog, Annie, went through the same disease. For months she had trouble breathing and her heart was enlarged. The morning we decided to put her down, she started eating again and was walking around wagging her tail - it was very difficult, but we didn't want her to suffer for months like one of our pets from 4 years ago - we tried to extend his life and it was miserable for all of us. It was hard coming back home and she wasn't there...take care.

I am sorry for your lose. My wife and I had to two cats that got sick. We did what we could to help them have a good life. There came a point in both cases where they both would not eat. We decided the best thing to do was to put them to sleep. It was a tough decision, but it was the right thing to do.
My wife and I still talk about them from time to time. My four year old son talks about them too. Funny thing is he was 18 months and two and a half when each left us. Take care.

I know how this feels. I had a cat for 18 years of my life, and I always held on to him until he started to get sick. He wasn't himself anymore. Once we brought him to the vet, the doctor said my cat actually had a tumor in him, and hes been in pain all this time. Once we knew, he started kissing us and seemed like he was saying goodbye. He'd usually cry and moan at the doctors but this time he was calm. I'll miss him, but I know it was the right choice. I wish the best for you!

she was a verry happy dog and fell asleep on my feet every night. then one day my step dad came home without her. i asked where she was. And he told me shes in heaven. she had a tumor and was suffering verry much. when she was alive, if we had pizza, we would give her the crust and call them pizza bones. now i never eat my crust...

Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. I have gone through the same thing in Feb., only our Maggie had cancer, and it is SO hard. You've emailed with many others, that I am just one of the few, but we emailed a few times since the begining of Lucky's dx. and I just want you to know I've always checked to see how she was doing throughout this time. She was a wonderful girl, Jill, and you are a great doggie mom. You gave her a GREAT life. HUGS.

Sorry to hear that Lucky is gone. I remember when we had to put our dog down. For the last 3 years of her life she was very sick, and had very little energy. When we took her to the vet the day we put her down, we spent about an hour playing with her at the vet. Throughout this hour, she was like a young puppy again, very energetic.

Really sorry for your loss, losing a pet can be one of the most heart wrenching things to experience. I can still remember losing my dog, and this brings back memories. Mine was a casualty of me falling asleep at the wheel on the highway.... hit a boulder off the side of the road still going 70. Little guy didn't make it and many people were suprised i made it. Anyways, my deepest condolences for your loss, i know the feeling all to well and it's not a great one.

I am so sorry for what you have been through. I think everyone knows what it is to lose a wonderful pet and friend, and all that just returns when we hear about someone losing something special in their lives. At least you have some really great moments caught on cam to remember her by.
My vet does the same thing with the paws; when my parent's golden died, they made a paw imprint and sent it to my mom as a wind chime. This was before we knew they did that and I think she cried harder then
