When you first start using the SCAR-H, its hard to level up due to the iron sights being horrifying. Do one on the G3A3. i seem to kick butt witht that gun.

@jacobwritz Once you unlock the holo/red dot it is worth playing, I hated the SCAR at first and now i love it, perhaps even more than the M4 that you unlock later on. The damage is simply amazing.

The SCAR-H is my gun. I love it in BF3. Now the recoil can me lessend with the Grip, Suppressor, and Oddly the ACOG

I think it helps with adjusting aim after fireing. I used to use the heavy barrel. And Holo Sight. Then i looked up and found out that the suppressor lowers recoil and the ACOG lowers center speed. I put them on and in my first game i went 20-5. So try them. They might work for you!

P.s. Weapon Stats are 30-17 Damage. 600rpm. With medium-high recoil.

@chrisjspooner BUT People who are not in vehicles CAN disarm/destroy them. I THINK the engineer can use the repair bot to disable them. Also they will show up on your map if you are using the mortar and people spot them. You can then send mortars to that area to destroy them. I got the "Explosive Disable" ribbon 7 times the other night on Wake Island doing just that. Clear out those mines for your vehicles....

Yet more weapon guide deliciousness :) Iron sights on the SCAR-H are a pain in the rear. I found I kept having to look up from the sights to see my target, and then look down sights again to shoot. It's a nice weapon once you get a red dot etc. It helps if you have the ammo perk as I found it ran dry pretty quick. Not sure I've got the supressor yet, but that's a definite want!
