@Thephreshkid1 some people like it shorter and some longer. There's two ways to do this: fade Mohawk or a tapered Mohawk (like this one; although he went high enough on the back that it almost looks like a low fade; nice!) ... If you want it longer on the sides tell your barber to use a 1.5, then clipper over comb to blend the rest on for the sides...

@ohsnapitsnd truth is a fohawk can be cut in many styles. its all about what ud like. if ud like a taper with it then get the taper, and when u do get a taper u have to decide whether u want a tail or not. its all up to ur likings. and the tail can be in any shape ud like. if u want it to form a V than u tell that to the person cutting it. or want it to be long than tell him that. its all about how u personally want it. the way a customer wants the fohawk is what makes it unique.

@TransJohna there bald is when they taper the sides down to not just the zero size of the machines but also use a shaving machine to shave and leave the skin smooth. bald is a razor shave and zero is more like jus machine shaved. u should be able to feel the diffrence.

thats a very good question. the diffrence is the fohawk has blending too it, it can be cut in many diffrent styles but has blending on the sides not like the fohawk that doesnt have blending and is jus cut one sides on the sides n long on the top.

@klnumbertwo i like both equaly actually. the diffrence is that promate blades have bigger teeth than andis blades. i use the promates with ppl that have thick hair. and b4 i put new blades on my machines i sharpen them straight out the packages. i get them to be supper sharp and adjust them so that no one will get cut or get skin damage. u learn with experience.
