There is a really good companion you can have at the end of the dark brotherhood questline, it's Cicero and he's a beast but can get a little annoying at times. Can be quite funny though :L :)

alright so lidea died at the end of the dark brotherhood storyline then i found that chick in whiterun so i was like fuck yeah this bitch looks badass then as soon as i get out of the city we get attacked by a dragon she dies and somehow her body goes flying miles through the air and i had already gave her alot of my stuff so yeah that sucked lol

- Look for Faendal (Wood elf) in Riverwood. He walk around in the village. Help him out with his loveletter scheme. Not only can you use him as companion, but learn about archery. That is why you think its bad now, I think. And you are ruining the god damn singers, in the "inn", ladychances, and prolly his life.

When you learn "archary", you can take back your money from your companion. Call it cheat or not, but its in the game. Also, there are mageteachers also.
