At that point the network was still good, in some aspects, like they still ran Cinematech at night, but other than that it started to fucking play tons of re-runs of old shit...like Star Trek the next generation and the Man show. Okay shows, just not on that network.

When I first saw "Cheaters" on the listing I thought they just changed the name to "Cheat", but oh was I wrong. Then when Icons started talking some fucking basketball coach I never watched it again.
Saying "3 shows" is an overstatement. Everything on G4 from 2006 is garbage. I miss the real G4.

Yeah, my cable company had G4 for about one year before they dropped it. That was a couple years ago, back when they had good shows like Code Monkeys, Ninja Warrior, and Unbeatable Banzuke. Right before they were dropped, they showed pretty much nothing but Cops or XPlay. I HATE XPlay.

Vic and Tommy refused to renew their contract with G4 (when it had expired) because they didn't like the direction the station was headed, despite JD being the station's top rated gaming related show (at the time). They also weren't too crazy with G4 shafting the G4tv.com show. JD still airs in Canada as Reviews on the run.

Yeah, my cable company had G4 for about one year before they dropped it. That was a couple years ago, back when they had good shows like Code Monkeys, Ninja Warrior, and Unbeatable Banzuke. Right before they were dropped, they showed pretty much nothing but Cops or XPlay. I HATE XPlay.

As for G4, they are the absolute worst, the bottom of the barrel; the lowest form of “entertainment”. They stabbed all of their viewers in the back long ago, and now it’s coming back around full circle.

I know I'm a minority here in my opinion, but I actually prefer when you review random stuff instead of games. Game reviews are nice every once in a while, but commentors, I actually like this stuff!

when i had digital the only reason why i watch g4 was for Cheats! (i think that what it was called), but then the host changed and i stop watching it cuz she was boring as hell and didnt even know that much about gaming. other than that the rest of shows they showed were either boring as fuck, or unrelated to video games. i mean for a channel to have majority of there shows be unrelated to video games? that would be like mtv showing reality shows rather than music...oh wait!

Directv did you a favor. there is NOTHING good on G4 anymore. cheat, arena, portal, cinematech, blister, that show with the two guys reviewing games, and that 80's arcade show got booted. you should be thankful IGSRJ. I would

@ShitSoda You mean Judgment Day? Vic and Tommy refused to renew their contract with G4 (when it had expired) because they didn't like the direction the station was headed, despite JD being the station's top rated gaming related show (at the time). They also weren't too crazy with G4 shafting the G4tv.com show. JD still airs in Canada as Reviews on the run.
