I knew a guy like him back in the late '80's. Bill Hoover from Vermont I think. He traveled with his dog and lived off the land. He worked in Macomb, IL for several years as a gardener for a homeowners association.

The intro was filmed with a super 8 camera and the footage was telecined.

The rest was with a panasonic dvc30 and external mic.

if that's the case then I'd recommend it cause the dvc30's is pretty bad. I just have an azden mic that was like 60-70 bucks.
