First I started my simply making my own soundtrack to RE4. All that really takes is converting tunes to .OGG
After that I moved to Texturing, which can be done in Photoshop - My texture mods are all improvements or edits on the original textures, or other people's textures (With permission).
My last mod was a Freddy Krueger mod (Work in Progress) that I textured myself after I asked someone to help add a Claw to HUNK.
There really isn't any advice to give, Mercenaries is very straightforward. Wesker is one of the most powerful of the Mercenaries because of his inventory and melee moves. Just get used to using only the Pistol on the weaker ones, it's all you need. Save Magnum ammo for problematic mini bosses (Chainsaws etc) and your Rifle is a go-to longer ranged killer for weaker ones when Pistol isn't enough.

I didn't know you could Thrust Punch the Bella sisters XD I always tried killing her with his sniper, I did kill them along with Garradores and such but with Krauser's arm...Can you also break the "mini-bosses" necks with Hunk? Because I never tried it, lawl

An aimbot is a mod or program used in some games to automatically aim at certain things. If you know of the game Counter-Strike, there used to be aimbots that would automatically aim at the head of players allowing for easier headshots.
Thing is there's no such thing for RE4 as far as I'm aware and godknows why anyone would use it if there is one - Aiming in RE4 is very very VERY easy, even with Keyboard.
Where, exactly? If you're on about the quick turning thats an inbuilt mechanic which everyone uses. If I was using an aimbot, I'd never miss, and I do quite a lot.
Some people just can't accept that a Keyboard player can actually have decent aim. Feel free to point out where aimbot is used and bare in mind, mouseaim and aimbots would make the targetting go sporadic and rounded, but you only see me move horizontal, vertical and diagonal.

Play RE5 on PC, they actually made it not horrible and need patches to be able to play.
I never played RE4 PC, just loved the Gamecube and then the Wii versions (Screw PS2! That version was horrible!). As soon as I saw you with the Sniper I knew it was mouse, but the "3" and "4" threw me off.
I have only ever played RE4 with Keyboard. It does not need a mouse to be competant. If you've actually SEEN mouse-aiming you'd realise it'd be impossible to go perfectly horizontal or vertical like I did in the movie when not aiming diagonally (Up right / Up Left / Down Right / Down Left etc). I don't get why people assume this is with a mouse - Mouse aiming is so blatantly obvious. I play both RE4 and SF4 on Keyboard, 100% and I'm very proud of it.
@RopeDrink Never saw Mouse RE4, so I assumed that keyboard aim would run more or less exactly how using the dpad was in the console versions -- horrible. Paying more attention now I can see it, and it explains why it seemed you were having trouble with small adjustments, I've just been used to seeing old CounterStrike pros with their hyper controlled aiming.
Just wondering how you're so controlled with it -- I'm not exactly a pro but I'd have trouble with that using my G700!
Played CS1.6 for 5 years, myself, thats why I get antsy when people accuse of mouse-aiming. I can tell you with absolute certainty that if I was using a mouse in RE4, I would never miss... Ever. But yes, you are correct, people will notice that the small adjustments are extremely tough because you have to tap the direction(s) and sometimes go too far or not far enough, but with practice and time you adapt. This is why I hate Sniper Rifles, Shotguns being my weapon of choice.
@RopeDrink Ah I see. I was never able to play CS well, my mouse aim is only passable at best, and CS needs hyper precision. And of course it takes me till now to realize that it only looked like you were mouse aiming due to your turns -- which was just you exploiting the aim-at-the-camera thing. It all makes sense now.
I can't use a PS2 controller (left stick in wrong spot!), so when a friend needed me to help him on it I used the Dpad, which is why I know almost what it feels like.
That's the big key to fast-aiming. Check my earlier videos and you see I used to turn normally, as in physically turn, which is 50% slower and riskier. There is a reason I uploaded 4xWesker Movies of the Village, the first three are entitled "Wesker - Noob" because I wasn't too great back then. This movie is the finale, showing I had learned all the tricks and trying to put them to use. Ironically, like anything, it's extremely easy with practice.
That was fucking unreal ..unbelievable run my friend... I recently picked RE4 up again on PS2 , it's such a great game, but damn IMO the mercs is much harder, the animations like opening doors, jumping through windows and picking up stuff don't save you from damage..that's rough, but It is nice to pause time to switch weapons :D ...

It's me playing with a Keyboard. There is no editing tricks or aimbots. I'm not sure if there's even an aimbot for RE4 and if there was it'd be the last thing I'd want.

Well It's on Keyboard, not Mouse - PC Controls work the same as Console controls, we have to use L,R,U,D buttons - If people use a Mouse-Addon it's very obvious as they can aim in wavey or curvey motions, can't really do that on Keyboard, it's always Horizontal/Vertical or at most, diagonal.

@RopeDrink - Well, coming from someone who struggles with 4-star rankings, this is pretty amazing. Not only that, but it was a genuinely entertaining video, as well. I learned some interesting techniques from it.
Out of curiosity, if you have played both RE4 and RE5 Mercs, which would you say is your personal favourite? I find that they both require skill, but in slightly different ways.
@TheVengefulTortoise - It seems to me that one emphasizes quick combo acquisition and careful dodging (RE4), whereas the other emphasizes taking advantage of melee opportunities and animation sequences for time extensions (RE5). What's your opinion?
I am very impressed :) I only aim to get just over 5 stars so I can get the handcannon(although I do have some fun with HUNK, wesker, and krauser haha). Cant imagine if Duke Nukem was a mercenary in this game with all the weapons he uses hahaha :P
Sweet, although it is very weird seeing Wesker whipping out a sniper rifle :p Personally I prefer going "RE5 style" and get as many Thrust Punches as possible. Which is why I always discard the sniper at the beginning of each level; probably not smart, but feels more apt. I mean... It's motherfucking Wesker!
Shame you don't get that 5 seconds bonus from a melee kill. That really makes RE5 Mercs more fun.

Leon & Krauser are the only characters who use a Knife in Mercenaries. Ada can only use a Knife in Seperate Ways. HUNK and Wesker do not use Knives.

That's the big key to fast-aiming. Check my earlier videos and you see I used to turn normally, as in physically turn, which is 50% slower and riskier. There is a reason I uploaded 4xWesker Movies of the Village, the first three are entitled "Wesker - Noob" because I wasn't too great back then. This movie is the finale, showing I had learned all the tricks and trying to put them to use. Ironically, like anything, it's extremely easy with practice.

That was fucking unreal ..unbelievable run my friend... I recently picked RE4 up again on PS2 , it's such a great game, but damn IMO the mercs is much harder, the animations like opening doors, jumping through windows and picking up stuff don't save you from damage..that's rough, but It is nice to pause time to switch weapons :D ...

Lol! It's like you here the helicopter sound and you pick an extra 1 minute and 50 seconds, the helicopter's noise goes away! Helicopter is like " Can I get you now?" and you say " Wait! I got some more time!" the helicopter guy is like " ok I'll wait!"

It's me playing with a Keyboard. There is no editing tricks or aimbots. I'm not sure if there's even an aimbot for RE4 and if there was it'd be the last thing I'd want.

Well It's on Keyboard, not Mouse - PC Controls work the same as Console controls, we have to use L,R,U,D buttons - If people use a Mouse-Addon it's very obvious as they can aim in wavey or curvey motions, can't really do that on Keyboard, it's always Horizontal/Vertical or at most, diagonal.

@RopeDrink - Well, coming from someone who struggles with 4-star rankings, this is pretty amazing. Not only that, but it was a genuinely entertaining video, as well. I learned some interesting techniques from it.
Out of curiosity, if you have played both RE4 and RE5 Mercs, which would you say is your personal favourite? I find that they both require skill, but in slightly different ways.

I am very impressed :) I only aim to get just over 5 stars so I can get the handcannon(although I do have some fun with HUNK, wesker, and krauser haha). Cant imagine if Duke Nukem was a mercenary in this game with all the weapons he uses hahaha :P

Sweet, although it is very weird seeing Wesker whipping out a sniper rifle :p Personally I prefer going "RE5 style" and get as many Thrust Punches as possible. Which is why I always discard the sniper at the beginning of each level; probably not smart, but feels more apt. I mean... It's motherfucking Wesker!
Shame you don't get that 5 seconds bonus from a melee kill. That really makes RE5 Mercs more fun.
