I saw this guy perform this stunt at the Quad City Airshow 2011. I commented what a ridiculous stunt to perform without a parachute. I commented the stunt would be even better with a parachute in the event he did fall. What drama that would be. Instead thousands of kids got to witness the horror of this pointless stunt.

It should be pointed out that the British military pilot killed, Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging was a member of the Red Arrows, and his crash had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the air display. He was killed on arrival back where the aircraft was being flown from, several miles away from the display scene.
