What kind of hp would it take to turn these motors ,most would take a gas engine to turn them .They are stiff motors

Thanks, I like your savonius. I'm working on a VAWT myself. The blades will be true airfoils that generate lift. I'm in the process of moving, but once things settle down, I'll start working on it.
