Hellooo.. I'm here again!! I love your Mendelssohn.. you and your brother are amazing!! Is the Venezuelan still your Violin teacher?? By the way, how come do you have too many Violins??? XD
@OrianaDiazL -- hi, the violins aren't ours, we're just helping the estate of a professional violinist who passed away a few years ago by doing these sound samples. we're helping to catalog the collection. we only get to spend about 5 minutes with these wonderful old violins. i just added a new mendelssohn recording to our personal youtube page

@eboyinc Oh I see ... I found your personal page.. yours and your sister's... Great! I can finally see your faces! Well, I am glad you're guys helping to catalog the colletion.. It's a great idea, by the way . and original!!!
My favorite Mendelssohn on Youtube. Thanks for all of these incredible videos. I hope you'll keep doing these sound samples. I've learned alot from them.
I love the people on Youtube who leave harsh remarks but have nothing posted themselves. Youtube isn't supposed to be about professional studios, it's music for the people by the people. This artist is fantastic, one of the most talented people I hear on Youtube and you're complaining about the mic placement??? man o man, that's cheezy
thanks for your comments. the purpose of these recordings is mostly to catalog the violins in this collection which were collected over a lifetime by a very fine violinist and a friend of our family. we're just trying to help out and placing these samples on youtube for convenience. hopefully, as i'm only 14 years old, people won't be too judgemental on me or my $89 casio digital camera which is all that i have to record on :D
The instrument is not that important. Not my words... Isaac Stern's. It's the soul of the music that people are really listening to.. people will rarely judge you based on your instrument's sound.. it's how you use that sound.. whether it be the best sound or mediocre is up to the instrumentalist.. not the instrument. Unless of course your instrument is total total junk, don't worry much about it. If someone made your instrument with great care and love, that's enough.
that was magnificent! I just started playing the violin which gives me a new appreciation for how difficult it really is @_@. can you Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V some of that talent this way? haha
hey thanks!!! wish i could...lol...wish i could have a few years ago especially. give it a few months--it'll get easier--i'm not sure i have any talent, but i spend alot of time practicing (what does ctrl+c & ctrl+v do?) thanks :D
I love this violin!!! I've heard of Leander Nute and know that his violins are rare and very valuable. This is quite a collection of instruments that you are playing. This is one of my favorites. Beautiful playing.
hi...thanks so much...these violins are awsome...it's like treasure hunting...every time I open another case there's another amazing violin waiting to be tried out :D
