Lettuce is very hard to eat if you are a dog and have no hands. Oh, and by the way, I don't know about dogs, but cats should not eat vegetables as their digestive systems are not adapted to that.

@3153dee Not vegetables, not at all! But anything meaty, but without spices or additives of any kind - never give an animal that! Beef, sure, or pork or chicken. And as always: NO spices! But the best was fish or shrimps, cooked or uncooked! He LOVED that in an almost maniacal way! Vegetables were perfectly OK, but only very, very little and always mixed up with meat or fish.

@MowgliX MOST deff!! DO NOT FEED YOUR PETS ANY SPICE!! I work at dallas spca and we actually had an owner who fed his dog garlic with its cooked pork and he brought his pet in with severe vomiting and diarrhea. I know for sure you cant feed your pets onions, garlic and nutmeg and I'm sure theres more to that list. Also cats and dogs dont have to eat cooked foods which a lot of people dont realise

@3153dee Nutmeg is poisonous to some extent and may harm an animal. Also, *don't* use a plastic feeding bowl for you cat as some plastics contain chemicals that cats can't tolerate. According to Wikipedia, this is because their livers are less effective at some forms of detoxification than those of other animals, including humans and dogs. Also, a cat's liver and other internal organs are very small. Cats are very, very sensitive to some chemicals and medication! Protect your darling!

I guess he has had vegetable for some reasons

1) he is a vegetrian

2)he wants to lose his weigh

3)he is starveling whatever it's vegetable

4)he might do something wrong so he wants to repent what he has done

5)he also loves other animals as himself so he doesn't want to eat meat in order to avoid he is also eaten by others
