yer it shows the basics but thats not good enough for trance.

Trance is all about high energy and trance like melodys.

You may wanna work a bit on your waveforms (turn the unison up or sommin) as they still sound cheap and I know synth 1 is very capable of producing amazing sounds.

Playing with only the unison on the patch provided above you can thicken this sound greatly,, Detune to 40 / spread to 20 / and pitch +12. It sounds great now. I also turned down the Panning cos it pisses me off how much it moves about

Sounds cheap? Are you kidding me? Not everything needs to sound the same! I've heard enough E.Q. flooder saws to last a life time. It's about time someone knew that not everything needs to be pure white noise. Definition in sound is a nice thing to have. Even I'm guilty of being lightly influenced by the white noise wars. Maybe it's just my taste, but I like the more defined digital sounds. They're proud to be digital!

the problem is that you don't have the supersaw on the oscillators. You can try to recreate it, using a fast lfo to modulate on of the Oscillators or if you choose a square wave apply also de lfo to the PWM , but for sure will be not the same. Remember to select polyphonic mode. Other option can be use the unison mode....

And I forgot to ask, I have a small problem the sound seems to be doing a full 360 Degree spin(it goes back and forth it's not stable) as I don't think it's normal, any Idea what could be causing this ? thanks in advance!

Cab be due chorus settings or maybe the unison settings. SPD did you mean the unison knobs?

On the video are :

Detune : 20%

Spread : 50%

Pitch: 50%
