I wasn't even really interested in this movie until I caught this clip on YouTube before it came out. After I saw this scene I was like, "I gotta see this".

That's the idea. Ozymandias' costume is a joke of the Joel Schumacher Batman (played by George Clooney, with the nipple suit). Everything else is tied into his character's name.

Well, for one, his name: Ozymandias. The Greek name for Rameses II, pharaoh of Egypt. If you notice, Ozy's outfit is a combination between Greek and Egyptian culture.

Where's Captain Metropolis in all of this? Both him and the Commedian were 1st generation and it would reinforce how much things fell apart if Metropolis was still there trying to form this group only to have Blake ( the Commedian) ruin it out of indifference.

It's part of Zack Snyder's changes to the film to make it more mainstream while still having this be a thinker's movie. Captain Metropolis no longer heads the Crimebusters, or as they are in the film, the Watchmen. Instead it's Ozymandias.
