I'm not being a racist here, but I think Mike Tyson is slightly easier than Mr. Dream because of his color. Before the dynamite punch that knocks you out in one hit, Mr. Dream/ Mike Tyson flashes in white outline slightly. This pre-punch outline is easier to see on Tyson.

the reason this game was somewhat difficult is because you get eager and press left or right to dodge when your opponent doesnt do anything, then he knocks you out. espicially with mr. dream/ mike tyson

On the box for the game, it actually has a disclaimer that says something to the effect of "This game is exactly the same as Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, but no Tyson character appears anywhere in the game." They wanted to make good and sure that dead-beat parents everywhere could rest assured that Nintendo would raise their children properly, (and that Mike's lawyers wouldn't sue their asses off).
