  • in the beging ur tree cancer

  • lol the wheel barrow

  • wow i just got a new sniper its like urs but its green cool video

  • sweet

  • I bought that ghillie suit from wal mart last night I LOVE IT!

  • jeez camera man any louder perhaps?!? I'm just messing with you. :D

  • its kinda obvious where you are when theres a guy following you with a camera. bad tactics man

  • i guess the guy near the house didnt notice the guy with the camera standing right behind him

  • the guy in the beginnig made 2 much nose u dont need the whell barral just go prown and u wont be seen

  • Doesn't the camera man give him away?

  • how much did you pay for your leafies?

  • Looks like the Russian Ghillie from BadCompany2 :)

  • Dont to be a bitch, but you should cover up your rifle.

  • yawn

  • @TeamShadowOps Love that ghillie suit man. Did you make it or buy it? If you bought it, where at?

  • @CHSkicker01 You can buy this leaf ghillie suit from Cabela's.

  • BORINGGG

  • 1:50 i didn't notice him till he moved, good shit.

  • Well a bone stock rifle would be a different thing. That'd be a very good grouping for a stock rifle. You however did not say that it was a stock rifle. By the way Well isn't that bad of a gun. One of my team Members is about to buy a Well G96 Rifle. I think Well is a good company.

  • @Taairsoftteam I am planning on getting a TM G-Spec sometime in the near future and hopefully upgrading the whole thing, the only thing I am scared to touch is the hop-up unit and the trigger mechanism unit, but I can replace basically everything else. I'm just so busy with everything it's hard to have time for airsoft anymore =/

    -GOW SniperAce

  • @TeamShadowOps I know the feeling of not being able to find the time to play anymore. The older i get, the less time i have to do the things i like to, but that's life i guess. As for the G-spec, i bet after upgrading that, it'll turn into a very satisfying rifle. As for my team, we are looking into sponsorships to make upgrading our equiptment a lot easier. I hope it turns out well, but like we both said... just gonna be about finding time for the sport now.

  • I'd like to inform you that in colorado... That is all the temp ever is. So yes i can shoot better than that especially from 10 meters away. 10 meters is too close for you to be proud of. I'd love to show you but as of right now my gun is missing a hop up bucking (should arrive in 2 weeks) and a rubber chamber for my Bolt. After that i'd gladly show you that your not that impressive.

  • @Taairsoftteam 10 meters is close, but this is airsoft. I used 10 meters because that is the distance standard for competition air rifles, and I thought it would make a fair distance to test an airsoft guns accuracy. I must tell you that if you are getting 5 shot groups that are under .25" CTC you are doing very good, I'd bet 90% of airsoft rifle's can't even come near that mark. But consider I am doing this with a bone stock Well rifle, not a TM or something......

    -GOW SniperAce

  • go rane im gettn the MB02

  • maybe you should have used a bipod because you don't know how to hold the rifle in a steady position. And to be honest a grouping of .25 inches... isn't that great especially at 10 meters... That's pretty bad.

  • @Taairsoftteam I don't need a bipod for I can shoot an airsoft rifle more than proficiently, if you need a bipod for airsoft then you have serious issues. Secondly a 5 shot group at 10 meters that is .25" CTC is definitely good for an AIRSOFT rifle, I would love to watch you shoot a group similar to mine in real life, I bet you couldn't do it.......

    -GOW SniperAce

  • @TeamShadowOps, i could do that with a stock Jing Gong G36c so i wouldn't be shouting about it like its some acheivement with a 12 inch barrel

  • @MoooseTastic Sure you could :)

    -GOW SniperAce

  • fat bitch wanna cookie breaths like a animal i can tell hes not a sniper

  • Lol he's just a random friend we recruited to tape the video, we thought he would be a good videographer because that's what he does for our school. So he's not an actual member on our team and he is not fat, but maybe a tad out of shape.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • no bipod

  • A bipod is definitely not required for airsoft. I am a believer in bipods for my real rifles, but then again I shoot past 500 yards most of the time with them........

    -GOW SniperAce

  • no accuracy and no action

  • No action, maybe, no accuracy? That's where your wrong, all our airsoft rifles are finely tuned, but today was windy and you know what happens there. As for accuracy with my L96, I've achieved such fine accuracy at 10m with this rifle, the groups even surprised me (one who knows accuracy). The groups were 5 shots at 10 meters, CTC? On good days .25", on bad days never over .350", which would put the majority of airsoft guns to shame.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Dude i got a question. Im like 15 and i used to be in competition shooting too but I dont know which ghillie suit to buy.....do u think i should get a suit like your's from cabelas or a suit from evike....thanks and nice vid.....btw i use a TSD Matrix M700 Sniper rifle and a 3-9 by 42 scope........nice vid

  • learn to snipe in prone and get some accuracy

  • @TheTrampbros My accuracy is fine kneeling, more than enough needed just for airsoft. I used to be in competition shooting 3P 50 ft smallbore, I could probably shoot a better 5 shot group standing than you could while shooting prone :)

    -GOW SniperAce

  • rofl nice one pal 5 star slamming to that guy.

  • nice war. i'd rather be a sniper than a guy with a rifle. what type of sniper rifle do you have?

  • @biggamehunterguy Me too, and it's in the description :)

    -GOW SniperAce

  • i have been fascinated by sniping from a young age and i love the idea of sniping. i have been going ou shooting/hunting with my mums friend and i want to now create a airsoft team. i am a pretty good sniper as i have been told and i was wondering if you could give me some tips on creating an airsoft team and sniping. for example(sniping) the right sort of gear, the best guns for a begginer and the equipment i would need for this sort of thing.

  • 0:28 the ghuillie dude looks like Cpt. McMillan from COD4 sniper mission XD great vid man! I was thinking to get the UTG L96 cuz I just love l96 design but is it over all a good SNIPER? any advice?

  • hey bro u have good equipment but like the real iraq sniper said that is a horrid place to hide dude pick a roff top with tress above it or a bush or grassy area or even a small hole underneath a house or in a dark window but behind a loud ass metal wheel barrowl??? come on

  • Hey bro I served 2 terms in Iraq as a sniper. One pointer for you... since you have a ghillie suit. Dont hide behind hard cover (wheel barrol) , because thats where most poeple look. Hide in soft cover (grass, bushes). Use it to its fullest. And by the way. What kind of ghillie are you wearing? And are you wearing a paintball mask? Im just wondering because I have a real ghillie, but its way too hot for airsoft.

  • Thank you for serving for our Country sir! Anyways, this game was just a warm-up game just to make sure our equipment was prepared for later games up in the mountains with plenty of soft cover (: My ghillie suit is a leaf type that is actually very breathable which is great for hot days, I also am wearing a high grade mil-spec goggle. Secondly airsoft is just a side thing I like to do, nothing too serious =P But I own two Remington 700 precision rifles that-

    Continued......

  • Continued.......

    - I love taking out to long distances (past 600 yards) which are rangefinder verified. One of my rifles is chambered in .223 Remington for varmints and .300 Remington Ultra Magnum which I use for serious long distance work and long range hunting. If you ever wanna talk military or sniping just PM me, I'd love to talk!

    Braxton

  • dude, please tell me wear you got your ghillie suit and how much was it? because the leaf kind are hard to find and much better then other ones because as you said also easier to breathe, nice vid btw 5/5, just reply under this to tell me where u got that suit thanks!

  • I got this particular leaf ghillie from Cabelas.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Is that leaf ghillie breathable? What's the material? I just got a leaf ghillie from dick's sporting goods and i'm wondering if i should get that one because of the hood.

  • The leaf ghillie is very breathable, much more so than the standard "string" types. Just so you know my "hood" isn't a hood, it's actually a completely separate two part head piece.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Oh cool! Is the head-piece also from cabelas?

  • Is there a good website to find useful information like that for snipers? I love sniping but I really want to know what the pro's know.

  • If you want to know information just on external ballistics (hitting your target) just talk to me, SniperAce. Although I can't help you whatsoever in the tactics department.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • what the hell are thoose guns, are they real? or do they shoot air, or pellets or what?

  • These guns obviously shoot plastic 6mm bb's. The recreation is called airsoft, which was also mentioned in the video title. Also why would we want to shoot each other with real guns? A better question is how could you mistake these for real guns?

    -GOW SniperAce

  • how is it the bar 10 is betterb than the well? well have more power.. but i dont know the range if its the same...

  • The bar 10 has options for upgrades to make the rifle as powerfun as you want. Its lighter weight which helps with moving and aiming, you dont want to lug around a gigantic gun, which brings me to my next point, the Bar 10 is shorter. Although yes, the stock well may be more accurate, the bar 10 has much higher reliability and hundreds of after market parts. I have a friend who has a tsd l96 and he likes my bar 10 better than his gun.

  • The JG BAR-10 is made of more reliable parts, made by a more reliable company, and has more upgradeable potential. However, buying a sniper rifle for Airsoft is to be considered carefully as it is not the "hand of god" that video games portray it to be. In Airsoft AEGs can fire just as far and be as accurate as snipers, ESPECIALLY lower end one. But if you can hide without being seen, and want to not be heard then the BAR-10 is platform to build off of, otherwise you should look at an AEG.

  • Nice sniper skills

  • I will get the bar 10 in a couple of months after I get my G36K, So you say its better than this? I did reasearch on both and they seem pretty nose to nose...

  • Carthonas -

Although you don't know me all to well, you can trust myself as a true marksman, firearms enthusiast, and ballistics enthusiast that I can give you accurate and reliable information. I went through my share of experiences with many rifles, real, airsoft, paintball, you name it, I understand quality. My current actual sniper rifle, a Remington 700 VLS in .223 Remington shoots 5 shots in to a dime with my reloaded match ammo. The JG-BAR10 is better than the Well L96.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Thank you. It seems you know what your doing.

  • Ihave a .223!

  • what are those uniforms called and is the MK96 Airsoft Sniper Riffle a good gun?

  • Those uniforms are called ghille suits and the MK96 is not really a fantastic airsoft "sniper rifle". Instead I would choose the JG-BAR10. If you would like more information concerning the JG-BAR10 just pm me.

    GOW SniperAce

  • Thanks

  • Special Ops Ghillie* sorry

  • where's your mother kid ??? lol

  • Wheres my mother kid? For your information for I, SniperAce, am 17 years old, Edge is almost 19, and Mirage is 15. Definitely not to be considered kids.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • hey u seem to know alot bout snipen n i got a question. what gun r u using? and how much is it? also is it better than the JG Bar-10? im looking into buying 1 but idk which 1 is better. help is very much appreciated thank u

  • All of my "snipen" information lies in actual firearms, but upon recent research, I would choose the JG-BAR10 over the Well L96 any day. The JG-BAR10 simply kings it in all aspects, although being a former competition shooter, I enjoy the ergonomic benefits of the L96's stock over the JG-BAR10's stock.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • hey bro thank u soo much been lots of help n i ordered the jg bar offa airsoft gi once again thank u :) subscribed

  • Excellent! You won't be disappointed with your decision. Let me know how you like it once you receive it.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • SniperAce, another quick question. What is a good distance to be sniping somone at? whether it be from 50 ft ranging to 150 ft? btw, im getting my well l96 awp this friday :]

  • xTheMythTheLegendx -

With my Well L96 it is quite easy to successfully engage targets at 50 to 150 ft. Although I am using the optimum load to obtain this. My load consists of a Matrix .3 gram bb and 90% hop-up strength. With this load. I have already successfully hit the opposing enemies at distances a little past 190 feet. And all these distances have been verified with my laser rangefinder. I would set the minimum sniping distance at 75 feet.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • SniperAce, thanks again and sorry for the double post kind of lagged on me there. anyway if i can suggest a video, you should get a headcam, so we can see you snipe in pov. This would be awesome. though just a suggestion. hope to see more videos.

thanks- the man, the myth, the legend

  • xTheMythTheLegendx -

No problem for the double post, it happens sometimes. Anyways we will be creating some much more exciting airsoft battle videos contrary to the rather boring one we have on now. One of our main members was going back to college and we wanted something to put on youtube, so we put on this boring one for the time being. But better videos are promised!! I'll see about the headcam also.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    -GOW SniperAce

  • SniperAce, i just ordered my well l96 awp and im wondering... What is a good recommended distance to snipe somone from. 50ft? 100ft? 150? and so on, with any sniper.

thanks- the man, the myth, the legend.

  • sniperace, this friday im getting my "well l96 awp". im going to be playing in the woods with my friends. Question is, whats a recommended distance so they can't really see me (wearing ghillie or not) and i can pretty much shoot them. odd question haha.

thanks- the man, the myth, the legend

  • sick video, nice ghillie suit and what gun do you have?

  • SniperAce, a quick question regarding your sleak ghillie suit. What type is it, and where did you buy it. (or if you made it, how ).

thanks- the man, the myth, the legend.

  • xTheMythTheLegendx -

I purchased this particular ghillue suit from Cabelas and it's type is leaf. Although in this video you can not see its true potential due to the fact that we were only messing around, but when your actually in a bush, you are practically invisible.

    Shoot Straight,

    GOW SniperAce

  • yea i want to find one just like that. i think the other suits just get tangled up with the thorns if i got them.

  • You are right about how the other string suits get tangled, my fellow members had them and they were getting snagged and tangled in branches the whole time. This is another reason why I highly recommend the leaf ghillie.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • No, the formula I used was for ft/lbs, it isn't wrong, the one you listed is for joules. I currently use ft/lbs for all my projectile energy calculations. I am just not ready to convert to joules for my universal energy unit. The main reason I use ft/lbs is because most ammunition manufacturers use it for their cartridges energy. Yes, I am American, but most Americans still use imperial. Although I do like metric and find it a lot easier when converting.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Just like the good ole airsoft community. Have to spell check and correct everything before they can appreciate anything else.

  • I have the Mauser SR with 2.17 jules nice weapon.

  • Correction, joules not julies. I personally use ft/lbs for my energy unit. The formula I use for ft/lbs is, KE = M x V^2 / 450240, use grains for the mass and ft/s for velocity. Secondly why would you post the energy of your rifle and have a run-on sentence?

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Awesome Ghille suit :-)

  • cool i have the l96 its a nice sniper rifle i prefer close quarters with my high tourqe on my m15a4 compact seal=]

  • That ghillie suit is better than most string type ghillies out there. First of all when were playing seriously, we go up into the mountains where these ghillie suits really make a difference, not by the house like in this video, like said in the description, it is a just a warm up. But anyways this ghillie suit is very light, keeps you cool, and best of all it doesn't snag on any branches or bushes like the normal string type.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • my birthday is to day and i think i may have got the utg l96

What r your thoughts on that gun???

And what bbs should i use with it???

  • if im looking into being a sniper (or marksman) and am just getting into the sport wat gun should i buy 2 start out

  • most people would recomend starting out with an aeg instead of a sniper rifle just because it does take skill, money, patience, etc. and most people who start out as a sniper usualy quit the sport cause they keep getting killed. So my advice is simple do some research and ask question on airsoft forums

  • Which should i buy, a UTG mk96/l96 (460-480 FPS) and leapers 3-9 by 40 scope (all together $180) or a WELL l96 (500 fps, scope included) (all together $130) both come with bipod.

  • Hands down buy the Well L96, it simply blows the UTG version away. If you want more information to sway you toward the Well version please private message me.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • what do u think well 96 vs TSD 96

  • i have a TM vsr-10 g-spec i love how quiete it is im getting the 500fps upgrade for it

  • That's what I was possibly going to recommend, but yeah the only thing is you would need to buy upgrades.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • im thinking about buying another sniper i already have an well MB02 what would u recommend?

  • I can recommend you the highest quality airsoft "sniper rifle" for your money, but I am going to need to know how much you are willing to spend.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • i hate to tell you but the l96 is nothing compared to the tanaka m700 600fps+ and about 90 yrds on range

  • I know more about firearms and ballistics then you and am also a better shot, but why must I state the obvious like you did? This video is just a simple warmup involving the Well L96, so im not sure why you must bring up how the Tanaka M700 is better, trust me I know. But I spend most of my money on actual rifles, not airsoft, for example my Remington 700 VLS. If you have any questions for me, such as regarding how I am a better shot than you, please feel free to PM me.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • hey i have the same rifle!!!!!! Lol, i also love my colt ar-15 amazingly fun

  • hey im looking at getting the WELL L96 AWP Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle.ive played airsoft plenty of times.and if i get a sniper rifle i want a good suit like you have.Where did you get it.OR did you make it yourself.pleaseee message back, and nice vid

  • Hello, I purchased this ghillie suit at cabelas. The Well L96 is a fine rifle also, I highly recommend it. Shoot Straight!

    -GOW SniperAce

  • get the UTG version

  • The UTG version is the worse version of theL96's. I know that for sure. I won't go into detail, but can a UTG L96 or your UTG L96 shoot a .263" 5 shot group at 10 meters prone and a .5" group at 12 meters standing? Mine does. I also have confirmed hits at over 80 yards away (laser rangefinder verified). I am completely satisfied with this gun, it has served me well over the months.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • Thats actually really good camouflage, when you don't look directly at him, he blends in quite well considering

  • Do some research and i'm sure you will find something.

    -GOW SniperAce

  • defiently the well L96 im getting ive been saying for a while for a collection of airsoft guns so im off to get well L96 sniper

  • I Have The Warrior L96 and I love it dude it kicks ass

  • im getting an airsoft sniper on airsplat (AGM VSR10) for 60$, 435fp 0.2gBB

    is it an ok purchase?

i have never played airsoft so i wouldnt know.

  • I would instead recommend to you the Well MB-03, which is also a vsr-10 replica. My fellow GOW Member and sniper, Rane, owns this rifle. I have shot it many times and find it to be of very high quality. The price for the Well MB-03 is $70, but it is worth the extra $10. It also has an external hop-up adjustment which is very convenient. If your going to buy the MB-03, buy .28 gram bb's with it, they deliver the best accuracy.

    Happy Holidays

    -TSO Member SniperAce

  • I would like to correct that, I actually own the WELL MB-02. It has a shorter barrel which is convenient when trying to crawl through brush compared to the MB-03's longer barrel.

Also please try to place future comments on this same video on our new name, GhostsofWarAirsoft.

    -TSO Member Rane

  • lol, i think you mean "sniper rifle" a "sniper" is the actual shooter, not a type of gun

  • We have changed our name to GhostsofWarAirsoft. Take a look at that name to see the most recent and older videos that GOW(TeamShadowOps)have recorded.

  • is BAR 10 good?

  • None of use have the BAR 10 at the moment... but I did just order it so Ill let you know when I get it how it performs.

    -TSO Member Rane

  • what gun would be better for me....

UTG L96 or the WELL L96 AWP Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle????

    Thank you guys!!!!

  • The Well L96 Hands Down. Merry Christmas!

    -TSO Member SniperAce

  • ya, i agree, the Well L96 AWP is easily my favorite airsoft sniper rifle

  • what gun would u recomend for some1 who doesn't want to spend over 170$ on an airsoft sniper rifle with atleast 400fps

  • The rifle I have in this video (Well L96) cost $135 total. If you want an reliable accurate gun for cheaper I recommend the Well MB-02. Happy Holidays

    -TSO Member SniperAce

  • yeah i've been lookin at different L96 models i can't decide between the utg L96 with scope and bipod or Double eagle L96 wit scope and bipod but the double eagle is 50$ cheaper which makes me think that it's a crappy clone that sucks

  • Get the Well L96, it may cost more but its definitely worth the extra $50. Happy Holidays!

    -TSO Member SniperAce

  • lol in that possision gillie doesnt realy help

  • We were in the woods earlier playing, so we just decided to keep them on. Although my ghillie blends with the tree fairly well.

    -SniperAce, TSO Member

  • Homsaranator in response to your question air soft guns dont hurt all that much it feels like some on is pinching u hard and then its gone in like 10 seconds but if u get one of the higher end 500-600 fps ( feet per second) guns ur feinatly guna want to wear thick clothes and a mask as those can break skin

  • nice vid.....i prefer the L96 to the MBO2...anyway im like half way through and yeah..very good...i like the ghillie....but it really resembles the bark alot...well yeah keep up the good work and..happy snipinG!

  • Yeah, the L96 is more accurate and shoots farther. The reason I(Rane) have the MB02 is because the MB02 was only $55 compared to $135. And it can hold its own in a match if you know how to use it properly.

    -TSO Member Rane

  • i have the mbo3 and i cant find the right weight bbs to use i am using 20. but should i use 25s. the thing shoots about 400

  • This is pretty good! I actually paused the vid cause i wanted to ask a quick question...now I know airsoft guns hurt but people are saying you can get armor and what not? But I'm just a kid and idk i might get some little pistols for X-mas but my mom is kinda a safety type mom so if I ever got like "heavy duty" guns she'd probably want armor or something...so basically I'm asking what "armor" is in this scenario and just some general info on airsoft stuff just send me a message thx!

  • the only "armor" that is absolutely necessary is a sweatshirt or thick bdu, but past 30 and 40 yards most sniper rifle won't even hurt. I suggest just padding up if you plan on fighting at close quarters.

    -Edge, TSO Member

  • Almost forgot, most importantly always protect your eyes and face!

    -Edge, TSO Member

  • the armor is just like a vest that looks like a military vest that you wear to lower the poain, but believe me the pain just lasts a few minutes or seconds. u can get a vest at fred meyer i think, but im not sure, im getting one to because im gettin an mp5 soon to, so idk i hope that helps

  • nice, just some cameraman tips, when your filming someone aiming, you should try to get a little more closer, and get a good look at them aiming out of the scope from the front of the gun. nice vid though :)

  • Thanks for giving your opinion! We are very new to filming airsoft games and would love to know how to improve. Also it wasn't any of our teammates that filmed this. It was just a friend that was over at the time and we asked him to try and film a match of us. Although I would have liked if he got closer to our us. We are also in the near future buying KWA M4's. So just give us some time and I will guarantee you better videos!

    Thanks!!

    Braxton (Ace)

  • hey, no problem man, im looking forward to those new vids! have fun :)
