  • I hit a plateau and had to work out to break it. I have no hanging skin but only because of the program that I am using to lose weight. I could not have surgery. Had one before and I am an over healer and get keloids so that is why I looked for a healthy way. 60 lbs down so far and now I am showing people how to do it. You have done well and I do not put surgery down but I like to educated about alternatives. Gator ade is really, really bad by the way

  • @30DayDietInfo

Yes, gatorade is bad, unless it's sugar free of course, which is all I drink. Sugar drinks are out of the question after surgery. Also hanging skin has less to do with how you lose the weight (exercise, diet, starvation) and more to do with genetics......or luck of the draw as I like to call it.

  • I had my VSG a couple of months ago and I've been watching quite a few videos. I noticed that in 2 of yours - this one included - you pretty much glorify not having to workout. What a negative message to send out to others. I truly hope they are taking NOTHING from what you say about exercise. Fitness should be incorporated into any healthy lifestyle. I'll try not to be negative toward you about YOU choosing not to exercise but others should know "not eating" isn't enough. Just my 2 cents.

  • @theassisphat

I gotta admit, I take offense to the statement that I glorify not working out. I don't recall saying that in any of my statements or anything even close to it. We've all been fed the diet/exercise mantra enough to know what's required to be healthy. No one needs me to "enlighten" them on that. However we do need to hear the "reality" which is generally vastly different from any idealism being spouted about. People are naturally, beautifully flawed. Including me.

  • you look great congrats on maintaining. I am a mixed breed to mom Irish and Dad Puerto Rican, and my hair is normally curly and on the frizzy side, I used to have to have it straightened and all kinds of treatments since the surgery I shampoo and condition brush it out put a little Moroccan Oil ( sometimes if going out ) and it is smoother, thinner and straighter these days.
