When releasing the ball you should try and run your fingers along the seam to keep it up right and allow for a smooth release. People generally bowl full tosses when the ball slips out of their hands and people bowl it to short generally when they grip the ball a bit to hard and they drag the release so it bounces very short. I cant really teach you how to bowl a yorker but keep bowling, and when you finally bowl that ball remember what it felt like when you released it and try to replicate it
Awesome vid....Thanks a lot for the tutorial! Well, I still have one doubt, How do we know when to release the ball? I mean, when i ball, sometimes the ball goes, way over full-toss, and sometimes it just bounces way too short on the pitch. how do i like, release the ball, so that i hit the batsman's foot? I love those types of yorkers and wanna learn. :) And y eah, do u play for a team or something? wateva, AWESOME!
@ArpitRoy The ability to put the ball exactly where you want it to land just comes with practice and a bit of good coaching. If this arrives in your inbox check out the comment I did before this to see my answer to yours question, this response is the continuation of it. Hope this helped, :)
@thekewlboy1 Thanks for the comment! Your friend is right to some degree. Bowling is hard to do and it does take a least a month after working out an action thats suits you, to be consistently bowling in the right place. But this does require a lot of practice, how much practice depends of the individual. But keep practicing and you can become a good bowler in no time! :)
@CricketcoachGuy Hey man U did a great work but I have to ask 1 thing when I bowl everything is correct.(I'm a right handed)but every ball I bowl it goes wide!! :(. PLZZ HELP!!
@Puppetmaster832 I would think that you may be dragging your body position as you bowl. I had this problem myself for a while. I would suggest trying to angle your run-up slightly to the side so as you are bowling into the batsmen. but at the same time try to keep it straight ( i.e. don't turn your body very side ways when you bowl). If this doesn't work try and post a video of you bowling as a video response and I could help you in a more precise way. :)
@CricketcoachGuy OK Thanks man.I will try it.! thing you are saying that I should move a bit side of the wicket and bowl straightly to the batsman <=) Am I right
Very Good Cricket Coach Guy. Really liked your bouncer shot. Pity about the Irish team today but they did well against the Windies. Hope they beat SA and Holland. The World Cup needs Ireland in the next round and pip the English. Looking forward to your next coaching tip - spin bowling, wicket keeper, what's a googlie or cutter.
thanks u freak
