  • awesome video!

  • WHERE DI HELL IS CURTLEY AMBROSE!!!

  • Thank you for adding wesley hall, the mighty lion, and one of 3W's.

  • 1950? Larwood was 1932 (and, according to reputation, frighteningly quick. Note though that the injury to Oldfield wasn't the bowler's fault; the batsman edged the ball into his own head. You can bet that smarted).

  • I believe it was Frank Tyson at 3.53

  • Jeff Thomson? Also, don't think Shoaib is better than Pollock, Walsh, Ambrose, McGrath, Lee etc.

  • Frank Tyson @ 3.53 is the bowler

  • who's the guy at 1:14?

  • 3.53 is jhon snow i guess

  • Any idea who the bowler around 3:53 is?

  • Frank Tyson, I think

  • @stevelitchfield

    Yes I think It's Tyson.

  • @stevelitchfield

    Definitely Tyson

Did you put Chris Old in there? I was shocked until I saw....Kerry O'Keefe?

    :) still a nice compilation...

  • @eusebium7 Oh, I threw a few of my own favourites in there to add interest.... hey, it was my video!!!

  • That bowler is Frank Tyson, whom Richie Benaud rates as the fastest bowler he has ever seen.

  • @VarunNadkarni frank tyson mate

  • Kapil Dev shuould have been there...

  • two best bowlers I've seen Truman & Andy Roberts

  • not saying hes the best, but larwoods action is a beauty

  • where's Asif Masood my taya?! The great fast bowlers??

  • poor old graham gooch... on the receiving end of two of crickets bowling legends Garner and Donald.

  • Excellent collection. Note Mike Proctor's open-chested frontal action. I used to like taking it off for fun as a kid. Holding's action is so smooth, Marshall deceptively quick. Lillee and Trueman the best 2 fast bowlers here, i'd say. A pity the great Syd Barnes of Wales and England isn't there, he had the best test average, but of course that was early days- in his mid 50s he helped Wales beat the West Indies.

  • lillee, trueman and akram... possibly the greatest left-arm bowler there ever was. that being said all these blokes are out of this world.

  • lillee, trueman and akram... possibly the finest left arm bowler there ever was. That being said all these blokes are legends in this clip. Pity Ambrose and Walsh weren't included.

  • best two quicks? trueman nowhere close to akram, marshall or younis, who may have been the most unplayable quick ever for 3 or 4 years(despite all things people say about him

  • Where's my dad?!

    Asif Masood- absolute legend!

  • Haha, good un!

  • Scariest was his mate Sarfraz Nawaz

  • yues he was pakistan's original pace bowler. unfortunately no footage of his bowling here on youtube. perhaps you can upload some?

  • do you have any footage of him in action? please upload. he was pakistan's first true pace bowler. it would great to see him bowling.

  • Great clips. Thanks. Do you have one with only spinners?

  • Great video

  • i was watching this video and wondered where the hell is wasim akram?

  • watch again , around 4:29

  • @riqelme around 4:30

  • Harold Larwood = best ever.

  • Great to see some legends, but horrible editing!

  • Agreed. The videos are all separate items on my web site, but someone wanted to see just the bowling bits and I agreed to do a quick and dirty compilation for them. If anyone's got time to take all my videos (see URL link above) and produce a proper titled, edited, professional movie, please contact me - all help accepted!

    Steve

  • nice dude great to see thommo there
