I had a VHS release of this cartoon - I think it had three episodes. My pakistani neighbours' kids - the two girls anyway - LOVED this video... They had it on loan pretty much on a permanent basis, ha ha ha!
Gosh, those were the days... cartoons were just so wonderful, imaginative, original and fun. Guess that was before all the political correctness, focus groups and hiring of incompetent people to be executive, just because they got a college diploma. =(
i last saw this when i was like 4 in the helson days when there was no preschool yet just legos and super mario brothers. last week i was at a second hand store and looking through the books i found a mrs. pepperpot book reading the back brought back some old memory's.
Reminds me of my Saturdays mornings of my early teens in the mid-90s. TV2 Malaysia would actually air this, Maya the Bee and Sylvanian Families back to back. I miss them.
Oh my word! I watche dthose in South Africa ALL the time! I LOVE them, and have been searching for Sylvanian Families for ages and ages! For some reason I thought iot was Pensylvanian families so couldn't find it. Thanks for setting me straight! :):)
While i wasn't a huge fan of this growing up, i always loved the french intro. It had a nice upbeat beat, with a perfect interpret. Try the french one out, you won't regret it, it's ncie wether you understand the words or not.
Lovely to see the old cartoons from the 80s' when I was growing up. Hehehe. I couldn't remember that the opening theme was another song for Mrs Pepperpot. And it is also the same as the Japanese, Hebrew and Polish versions. It's good to hear the words in English as I don't speak those languages above, except for other languages like French, Spanish and German. :)

Compared to the dutch lyrics this version is awfully boring :') However, the series is absolute awesome :)

Make sure you check out the Hungarian Version too! It's "Csip-csup csodák" in Hungarian and the opening theme simply rocks!
