2migell - It's an excellent camera to use! When you get more money, you'll want to get a larger, professional HD unit, but till then, this one works VERY well. Move in close to your subject to get good sound. Handle the camera carefully, and it will serve you well!
Yeah, the sound here is adequate, and when I need really good sound, I have a sony HV20, which has a shotgun mic, but also I have a professional style shotgun, which I then have to use with my Panasonic DVX 1000. Can't beat having an XLR in for good sound, eh? Happy shooting!
Though I am not a professional like you, I use the equipment for a variety of projects and am more than satisfied with the quality of everything, particularly the image from the HC3.
The only complaint I have is the lack of a microphone jack on the camera. Do you use a proprietary Sony Mic?
I like your "Beautiful Snowy Day video." It is beautiful.
I am from South Australia and in February it is not rare to have have 107 degree days.
In fact I do have that proprietary Sony mic, and I like it quite a lot. It's a bit of a hassle, but when you get it all together, it works nicely. Wish I could use other mics as easliy, but I guess thats one of the drawbacks. Thanks for the kind words on the snow vid- Here in Alabama it does get cold, but not for long!
I have the same computer
saw is there a diference between big professional
cameras
and camcorders?

The HDR-HC3 is great util it works. Do a Google for C:32:11, and you will see the huge amount of people having this problem.
