This phone is the biggest RIP OFF Metro Pcs offers. Its $300 and doesn't even have a HD camera. For $300 u can buy a Mytouch 4G in excellent condition on Craigslist and use it on T-Mobiles prepaid 4G network. Which is 100 times better then Metro Pcs. T-Mobiles coverage is WAY better then Metro's and call quality is much better. Metro's call quality is a joke. And yes, I had Metro service using the LG Optimus M, And here in Metro Atlanta calls cut in and out and calls drop a good amount.

My roommate just dropped his Sprint 4G service and went with Verizon's true 4G cause his average Download speeds never went above 2megs. I had T-Mobile service alittle over a month ago and was using an MyTouch 4G and at my house I was averaging between 8-9 megs down and 4-5 up. I was only paying $80 a month for Unlimited everything.

Also, T-Mobile is upgrading there HSPA+ 21 to HSPA+ 42 this year. So by the end of this year T-Mobile's 4G network will be as fast or just about as fast as Verizon's. Data speeds aside, T-Mobile's network is far superior to that of Metro's. And anyone who says they have 0 issues with there call quality with Metro Pcs is flat out lying.

@csy30076 It probably depends on where you are. Here in Norcal, (i might get flamed for this) metro's network is very strong. I haven't had a dropped call in a long time. OFTEN times I have full bars where spring and T-mobile users have no signal. Whenever I hit a dead area, I think it's just the metro network, and then I realize that sprint and T-mobile users also have no reception. The only network metro can't touch is Verizon understandably, but neither can sprint or T-mobile.

The battery life is AWFUL on this phone! SO fucking AWFUL that I need to curse to describe it. DO NOT ROOT this phone watching old out-dated tutorials on Youtube, usually dumbasses who go to google and read other crappy tutorials get bad, uninformed info... always go to the official android forums (androidforums . com) You can get updated detail info there, but even id you root and get superuser en s-off on it, you still have a bad battery life compared to other phones.

I did a review on this phone on a website you guys might of heard of and I gotta say me and shino are on completely different pages first of all i thought the evo's battery was bad but this phone won't even survive 5 hours. Not sure about everybody else but for me the battery life in my opinion SUCKS. Even with the phone set to standby in your pocket it loses about 10% of it's charge an hour. The phone itself is great but plan on buying one of the extended batteries you can get off the internet. It's 3600 mAh instead of the 1500 mAh that comes with the phone so the battery lasts at least twice as long as normal. The extended battery keeps you from having to open the phone and keep 2 different batteries charged.

@Cornrows627 You can order them off eBay. They just make them in Hong Kong so they are really cheap. The normal battery that comes with the phone is about $45 if you buy it in the US. This battery that lasts MUCH longer is about $25 or less but it does take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to get it.

I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago and really love it. As with pretty much every single review I have seen the battery issue is a major one. The first time I took it to work it lasted about half the day before the battery ran out and died. The second day I got smart and turned everything off (GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc). That did help but the battery still died after about 7 hours with very little use. I found a 3600 mAH battery from Hong Kong for it and it now lasts much longer.
