i never really liked electronic/dance/techno type music and now i know why... it was missing KORN... yeh bitches, this is the shit... im an oldschool fan from the beginning, loved the first album, love this album and every single 1 between... ROCK ON KORN you make us true fans proud!!!... i wouldn't even get mad if you tried 2 do a remix style like this with some of your old tracks from the self titled album as bonus tracks somewhere along the way, infact i think that'd sound kickass.. ROCK ON!!
You guys really need to see the big picture with KoRn and this dubstep approach. KoRn is just trying to keep it modern, and so far the best modern music is Dubstep. If you compare this to all the other crap you would consider music this is at the top. I honestly don't think KoRn is going anywhere and that this is one of the best albums known to man.
@TheCrazyowner123 Its clearly not though, you can tell that this album has not had much love put into it, i like it but, even jonathan said, half the time the songs were made without him meeting the artists, this shows in the music, its over produced. Also the dubstep that is used is like the pop of dubstep, if he used the dark dirty dubstep that is underground it would have fit alot better. Search slipknot dubstep, or manslag and you will know what im talking about
Anything that Korn have released, Is amazing nothing else out there like it. They have stayed true to themselves through their whole careers and still going strong. Yes they have had difficult patches losing two very talented musicians;Head & David. And of course its not the same without them but Korn still have three incredible artists who have been there since the start and were the cause of the whole music scene to evolve into something much more than it ever has been.
KoRn = 10 Albums. Thats 10 different sounds. If they sold out, I would love to hear what they sold out from. As far as I can tell, they have never stayed on a sound long enough to be attached to it. I think we all just cant let go of whatever that sound is that we fell in love with them with. ALL KORN IS GREAT KORN
@ExploitAudio On theyre own they are alright? They are nothing less then amazing! And if you dont like this shit then What in the fuck are you doing watching this video? This album is spectacular, and your a faggot THE END!
So WEIRD to listen to this stuff. I've been a fan of Noisia, Excision, Datsik for years. Back when Feed Me was Spor. I can remember when Noisia released Mole Hill and that shit killed. Lovin' this sound. Glad these guys are getting more attention. They deserve it, everyone Korn's collabed with for this album is brilliant.
I love this album! and they didnt rely on the electronic sounds, you can hear guitars and fieldys bass slaps on some tracks but still their worst record will always be Untitled and Korn III and this record is actually their best, why? because i can listen to the whole album without having to skip tracks lol.
@TyliasOfficial dude i can listen to every korn album without skipping tracks. I feel their worst album was life is peachy. Just doesnt appeal to me as much. But i own it and i still listen to it. And untitled has got to be in the top 5. I love the last song especially. and korn III is great too. so i have my opinions. and you have yours. But their best album is untouchables. in my opinion
@wasneveranoob yeh i like your opinion man, i will agree that some songs offf of Untitled and Korn III were cool and Untouchables is their best work if you think about it but i'd have to say P.O.T. has to be #2 on their top 5 and Untouchables would take #1 and Follow the Leader at either #3 or #4
@TyliasOfficial yeah ftl was good. I think my order would go 1- Untouchables 2- issues 3- Take a look in the mirror 4- SYOTOS 5- FTL 6- POT 7- Self Titled 8- Korn III 9-Untitled 10- LIP i guess after i thought about it untitled isnt in the top 5 haha
@TyliasOfficial at least i found one person on here that doesnt say old korn is the best and new korn sucks. man those people arent fans of korn theyre fans of the 90s
@wasneveranoob Actually, lot of them are the ones who saw them at local pubs in CA & got suspended for wearing their tees at school. People who say this new korn is amazing and superior to classic korn, saying those who dispise it never were true fans weren't around in Korn's pre-label years, when all korn had for a gig backdrop was a bunch of hanging dolls and a korn logo. Seeing their big break opening at ozzfest & going to see them at the 1st Family Values tour. Those were the real fans.
@ltvdl Dude, its American dubstep. Skrillex gets outclassed by European dubstep artists like Obisida. Skrillex's dubstep is closer to pop and hiphop then the actual Dubstep itself.
@kingplutoxiao1 Saying that's going a little too far. I've listened to Obsidia, I wouldn't say they outclass Skrillex. The two of them simply have different styles of Dubstep. On the other hand, thanks for giving me the name of a good artist I hadn't known before.
@placidchaos87 Listen, Skrillex does American dubstep. Obsidia does Hardcore European Dubstep. America > Europe, Skrillex gets out classed. Thats like comparing Limp Bizkit's first album to Linkin Park. Limp Bizkit first album is TRUE rapcore, linkin park(not including their underground albums), aren't even rapcore.
Man. They got talent, but the only thing about this cd that sounds like korn is his voice. Im trying hard. And there great for doin new stuff, but if they ever had a bad album, I feel like this would be it. They ended up relying soley on techno. now it sounds identical to every other song on the album. Get up was good. Narcisistic was good, sanctuary is my fav. But the rest I cannot tell from eatchother. I could with remember who you are, But not with this album. Im scared, but hopefull.
@SerusSeagrave Are we forgetting Untitled? That album was another experimental but it didn't have what other albums had. This album is really good (even though I liked Korn III more) But How do all these songs sound the same?
