  • that is some epic music

  • I love how they hade the black people I'n the back all the people know back than black people wear I'n the front

  • @SuperKede well your wrong, black people weret allowed to fight at all, and the first time they did the regiment was all black.

  • @SuperKede what does you being in the usmc have anything to do with your comment? it does not help to prove you right at all.

  • @SuperKede there is no blacks, no whites, no asians, no indians; just marines :)

  • @stawksop good point

  • I'm pretty sure that's the continental army led by George Washington not the Marines but I have been wrong before

  • pause at 0:48 to see some sexy mellophone action. ;)

  • 20 people are terrorists

  • ooo fuckin rah

  • I wonder if John Q Highschool student knows that the band is as POG as you can possibly get?

  • @Sovereign1023 Actually no dip shit, 2007 the band was doing patrols and convoys. Why do I know this? I was there as a radio operator calling in fire for them. I was a "pog" radio operator and I spent more time out in the field and on patrols with grunts and with artillery. GTFO

  • @cwood4ever Clearly that's not the case given how butthurt you are. You probably roadguarded Range 500 for LAR a couple times, or something.

Come back when you've got a CAR and an Afghan, sucka!

  • @Sovereign1023 I was never in Afghanistan I was in Iraq TWICE. 2004 and then in 2006-2007. First deployment was with 2/11 and the second was with 5th Marines. I got nothing to prove to you, I did my time and I saw the band in Iraq do convoys. If you dont like that sorry.

  • @Sovereign Hoo Rah Teufel Hunden

  • @Sovereign1023 At foremost a Marine is a combat Rifleman and fighter all other conditions are secondary.

  • This is one of the most inspiring videos I've seen in a long time. There's nothing more powerful than seeing our Marines fighting (and winning) with their flintlocks. And to those people who insist the "enemy" in the video is the British, that's not necessarily true. For all we know, they could be marching onto "the shores of Tripoli." Regardless, if you screw with the United States Marine Corps... you're out of luck.

  • ''this sound once led marines into battle'' im pritty sure... america was looseing without the french help.. to the redcoat british colonial power.

  • @awaker200 well the french did come quite later than would have been hoped for and by then colonials had already cornered Cornwallis. It was simply the French who cut them off. And that sound led marines into battle and im pretty sure french had little assistance with infantry combat, just mostly naval.

  • @GoBIGclan you do know cornwallis wasnt the only commander in america at the time right? there were many more british colonial red coats across america not too mention the british canadian colonial's later invaded washington, and tourched the white house. and yes millitary the french did help but not all that much. but without there officors training the infantry back then the infantry wouldnt of had decent volleys shots. but ye the french did come to usa with a big navy an army later

  • @GoBIGclan if america was closer to europe im sure there wouldnt of been an american revolution concidering the whole world feared the red coats, includeing the french. i believe they picked a time too attack britain because they was fighting a number of wars across its empire all at the same time

  • @awaker200 Ah, But the French supported the U.S. After seeing how they fought the brits. And Combined they beat them back.

  • Epic drum and trumpet players.

  • What battle are they supposed to be showing in this? If I'm not mistaken the Marines weren't involved in a lot of battles during the Revolution. I'm not a history expert but wasn't most of the fighting done by the Continental Army, with a small part being played by the Continental Navy/Marines? I know about the Battle of Nassau. But other than that I don't know of many others.

  • @goofoffproductions well the usmc was in many revolutionary battles that involved the us navy and army at the time they werent as big but they were there. its a common misconseption that is was only the army that faught on land.

  • @thetrainguru You mainly just hear the Continental Army, which in fact had the Navy and Army combined.

  • @MasterChiefSargeant thanks for the info youve been helpful.

  • @thetrainguru

Not exactly, the role of the Continental Marines was a limited one and I personally am not aware of any significant engagements involving Marines. Im aware of a formation of Marines being called to help defend the Delaware River just before Trenton(no, marines were not involved in the Trenton campaign) but Im at loss as to the participation of Marines in any land battles during the revolutionary war.

  • @rekke41 Just weeks after formation, the Continental Marines successfully executed their first amphibious landing on a hostile shore. The British were storing large supplies of gunpowder at Fort Nassau in the Bahamas for use in battle against the 13 colonies. Captain Samuel Nicholas and 234 Marines sailed with the Continental Navy on a mission to capture the supply. Within minutes , the British troops surrendered. Capt Nicholas successfully acquired cannons and other military stores.

  • @llatimer2

I am aware of that action, but I would not qualify it as a significant engagement.

  • @rekke41 The the contrary it was the USMC's first amphibious operation on a foriegn shore

  • @jc85cap fuck you you godamn hippie go take your dumb ignorant thoughts somewhere else

  • @EveritoxSAx Thank you for your insults. It shows your kindness. Go ahead. Sing yourself up, buddy. I dare you. Go to infantry as well, don't bother with any other military specialty. After 4 years of active and an additional 4 years of inactive service you tell me who the ignorant and dumb person is. In the mean time I advise everyone else getting a university education, or learning a trade after high school.

  • I beg all young people NOT to join the U.S. Marines or (any) military for that matter. You will be merely thrown into a meat-grinder that is the war in Afghanistan, like in Iraq. You will not fight for freedom, democracy, and the glory that you are now brainwashed into believing by commercials like these, but you will be fighting for American corporate dominance and imperialism. And at what cost? Sure you'll get to wear a cool white hat and a blue uniform once a year, but can also get shot DEAD!

  • @JC85cap Go to hell you selfish bastard you want to say they dont fight for freedom when they fight and DIE for you to say those very words disgracing them you want to talk about brainwashed look in the mirror and understand you spit on men who believe in upholding every right americans take for granted think of that when you say shit

and if you honestly think we fight for corporate dominance go to hell but a person like you would never understand

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 They are not fighting for me, because I am not in any real danger, nor am I ordering, or expecting them to fight for me anywhere! They are fighting for their bosses in Washington, D.C. when it comes down to it. Were they upholding human rights in Abu Ghraib, or Guantanamo? Yes, I do think the Marines are brainwashed and misled into fighting for corporate dominance. I've written many research papers on today's international relations, which I assure you are not biased, or "shit".

  • @JC85cap you think there not fighting for you because you dont ask for it wow i dont know if thats selfish or just stupid. they do a job that people like you are scared of they fight not because you want them to but because they believe in a freedom that no nation has ever witnessed. and as for gitmo thats like saying let go a mass murder because its not right to hold him. and i would like you to explain how they are brainwashed. cause they are not they are taught no fear and to fight with honor

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 A patriot is simply someone who has strong feelings of support for his/her country; there is nothing more to it than that (believing in sacrificing a life like a martyr, etc., is NOT required to be a patriot). A patriot's political views, especially those of an American, ARE important due to the extreme hypocrisy of the U.S. government. A patriot does not have to support his/her government's actions 100%; that does not take away his/her feelings for his/her people/community, etc.

  • @JC85cap ur definition of a patriot is good but incomplete obviously a martyr is not a patriot but its the spirit behind supporting the country to go to the end of the world and back to see that your country and your way of life is protected no matter the what thats a patriot. they are a breed like no other 99% of americans are not true patriots they are 50% or so patriot other 50% is just a citizen yes some serve and i love them for that but they are in and out

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 There are thousands of service men and women in the U.S. Military and other armies of the world, and these peoples' beliefs vary, whether political, religious, or moral. What freedom is to one person is not necessarily freedom to another, and although freedom is generally understood to be the ability to be free to act, speak, and think without restraint (in accordance with law), the reasons why military people fight vary(money, opportunity, or lack of, interest, lack of direction)

  • @JC85cap completely true but they all fight for one thing when it comes down to it

TO SURVIVE, for themselves and the people fight for no one wants a man or boy come home in a bag they want to come back alive and proud which you dont see that unfortunately because in this day in age politics get involved to much

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 I would not be so assertive about the United States and the freedoms that its residents and citizens "enjoy". The U.S. is no N. Korea, but people do not have a universal free health care system, free university education, and must pay taxes to the U.S. government from assets coming from different countries on top of domestic American incomes. The USA Patriot Act restricted many human rights for U.S. citizens and residents. Do not be so quick to think you are THAT free in the U.S.

  • @JC85cap yes we dont have things but we also have things that others dont a patriotism like no other (sorry going back to patriotism again) the support for america is unprecedented. im not sure if your american if you are. you know that in america its not about being given its about earning ur way that when your in times of struggle its about getting back up and feeling the success not being given things sure college and healthcare would be nice free but you dont feel successful like an AMERICAN

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 I think that to have free healthcare and free university education is actually a matter of being privileged, (unlike people in the U.S. in that particular aspect) than a matter of being successful. People earn their way to the top in other parts of the world, just like they do in the U.S.; it's not a sole American belief and trait (to be successful). Success means different things to different people anyhow lol

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 Your rationale regarding Guantanamo is based on fallacies. Your argument would be valid if all the "detainees" (prisoners) were convicted of crimes. A vast number in fact were NOT. People of many nationalities were subjected to illegal rendition under international treaties, without the contention that suspects are "innocent until proven guilty", but rather "guilty until proven innocent". Innocents were subjected to torture, beatings, and some even to DEATH. Few murderers indeed.

  • @JC85cap they were charged "Terrorism" but i mean an enemy combatant is what they are considered and you can hold them period now yea some are probably innocent but people are always going to arrest innocent people unfortunate thing but they are treated like most prisoners are in the US. now they arent tortured believe me the most is water boarding and i have had a small bit of water boarding myself its really not torture it just sucks its mental. but when you go to bed your safer because gitmo

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 Although people were tortured in Gitmo and Abu Ghraib and some have DIED, overall, it's not the Middle Ages, I know, and I know that the conditions of the prisoners are better now. But the fact remains that you can't just take people off the street, say that they are suspected of "terrorism" (which is socially and politically constructed) and move thousands of miles across land masses and oceans only to detain them for a number of months and release them due to lack of evidence.

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 I don't really know if I sleep better at night because of that. I could be on a holiday in Croatia this summer and some CIA officer could take me in a van and abduct me for no good reason and I would not be set free for months. This HAS happened before.Even to citizens of allied countries like Great Britain (Moazzam Begg)! I would feel much better if the U.S. government would just mind its own business and focus more on its internal affairs;people would sleep better at night then

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 If you were to watch movies like "born on the 4th of July", or "Jarhead", or "Platoon", you would understand how many people have many misconceptions about the military and they are either drafted, or voluntarily sign up, only to later realize the brutal truth that the military does not give you glory, honor, etc.,but can put you in the position of killing people such as yourself in a similar position, or innocents, and worst of all,you may be subject to injury,or death in battle!

  • @JC85cap only seen Jarhead but you cant always say that there are misconceptions with a movie its made to entertain not paint a pretty picture. but people who sign up really should look into before dont blame the military after. now on a draft they probably dont think that cause they didnt want to be there kinda like you. the military very really truly gives you glory, honor, etc WWII has passed. the military doesnt blind it men politicians really are the bane of whats wrong with the military

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 On a personal level, yes I would protect my friends and family, and I would even disregard any laws regarding self-defense should some unprecedented circumstance arise that would endanger them. But that doesn't mean I would go out of my way to join a military,WWII is over. I hold two citizenships: one from Poland, the other from the United States; but I live in England atm. All in all I don't like seeing people suffer, that's why I beg young people not to enlist. That is all.

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 All in all I have reasons to believe that you do not yet see the bigger picture. I was once like you, too. I am not mad at you, nor am I trying to make you look "stupid".That's not the case.I am simply pointing out that the U.S. gov has time and time again lied to its own people in order to go to war,has broken international laws and treaties, and as a result of such actions many Americans and non-Americans suffered. It is simply best to stay away from institutions like the army.

  • @JC85cap i will never argue that the Feds lie thats a VERY known fact sadly. i ask you on a personal level if it came to the protection of your family your friends and your way of life would you do what it took to defend it. i dont disagree the Feds are 99.9% of the problem but to say to stay away from the military is wrong fix the FED thats what to say the military offers more than any career to my knowledge it is a truly endless career in what you can learn so just fix the fed

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 The military is an "endless" (40+ years) career provided you follow its rules and orders, and get promoted within certain timeframes.Bottom line is, yes it is all to do with survival in battle, all of that idealistic utopia in peoples' minds goes away after the first bullet zips by above their heads. However, I still think it would be wise NOT to put yourself in that kind of a situation in the first place.

  • @JC85cap dude the military is not just combat there is SAR, Nuclear engineering, Intel, ETC....

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 Insult me all you want. I just think it's pretty bad to send the youth of a country like America to pointless wars. But hey, if you want to go out there and get riddled with shrapnel, bullets, and come back with mental illnesses, or in a coffin, then knock yourself out buddy. I advise everyone else getting a university education, or learning a trade after high school. I think a person like you doesn't understand that.

  • @JC85cap and a person like you dosent understand that the military offers a person a look at how life really is creates a bond between men they would have hated before you learn discipline and trust to people you wouldnt. and sure its a danger but never pointless you insult every american who has served for a cause to allow you to speak like they are a pack of dogs who serve politicians please before you talk about understanding look at it from a patriots side

  • @xGuns0fHonorX1 Looking at it from a humane side I simply wish the best for young people regardless of nationality, or their whereabouts. An American patriot's outlook varies... you've got those that blindly believe everything that Congress says and take everything in as Gospel and you've got those that take pride in their communities and culture, but also use their brains and question the guys at Pennsylvania Avenue. I don't know which one you are, but I think we've shared enough thoughts- bye

  • @JC85cap from a patriots view has very little to do with congress or god. a patriots believes in giving his life so that he knows his country will still have a purpose in the world as a Beacon of freedom to all people of the world to show that oppression is not a life to live that the US offers a freedom never capable in any nation our founding fathers believed in that and just because CONGRESS today is very different it dosent mean patriots still arent out there you have to dig and find them

  • USMC..kicking ass and taking names since 1775

  • That should moved black guys it to war back than if you war black you wear up front

  • I thought that the marine corps band was the "President's Own" or has obama went and disowned them?

  • @lgmmrm oh, this is just drums and bugles

  • And then there's the fleet...... haha

  • Once they fought for freedom! Now they fight for trumpets!

  • Comment removed

  • @Anarchizer how would you know if you never claimed the title of being a MARINE. Maybe you should grow a pair and man up and go earn the title and then you can talk all you want. Its easy to talk shit about something you have no clue about on the internet. STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS OR FEEL FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM. Maybe your not MARINE material and if that is the case then go be an ARMY of NONE or ARMY STRONG or whatever their using now. Remember theres GAY and then theres ARMY GAY!!!!!!

  • @2010CamaroSS2man excuse me sir are you truly a coco nut?

  • @Anarchizer just a 20 year Marine getting ready to retire so yes i get offended when retards like you talk shit about something you have no fucking clue about. Come see me in person and i'll show you the trumpet i fight for and no i was never in the Marine Corps Band but, an Artillery Marine so if you have any hair on your nutsack and a man of any kind i'll be waiting for you, i am in Jacksonville, NC just let me know when you arrive so i know where to meet you for your ass whooping, pussy boy

  • @2010CamaroSS2man threats through the internets sir? You really funny guy :D

  • @2010CamaroSS2man INTERNET MARINES MOBIALAIZE

  • I know more about freedom than you ever will, cause you were trained not to ask questions in the Marines and do what you are told like a dog.

  • @Anarchizer hahahaha, whatever helps you sleep at night POLOCK, i was expecting a better come back then that. Just remember who the number power is in the whole world!!!!

  • @2010CamaroSS2man I dont deny it. USA is the first power in the world... accept soon China and India will be. Besides where is that honor of yours when you bomb civillians hm? I really like the Marines TV ads. They are so inspiring and shit. But the truth is that you raided two weak countries without an excuse. And even those grey uniforms make you look like nazis during IIWW

  • @Anarchizer your killing me dude. I didn't need a history lesson but, here's one for you, neither one of us was even a thought in some one's head at the time of WWII and you are making it sound like you are a Holocost survivor or something. Then only freedom you know of is the last 24 years you have been alive and i am sure it isn't as bad as it was during WWII, both of our countries have come along way since then, you just made it look like you were insulting the USMC which i am a part of.

  • @2010CamaroSS2man actually I am accusing your government of beeing an ass for everyone just because they can. You realize that your invasions on Iraq and Afghanistan made this mytic Al-Queda grow even faster? USMC was a tool in your governments hands but that makes them responsible aswell.

  • @Anarchizer ok i really hate politics and see where this is going but, where is Poland in all this, in Poland instead of lending a hand to rid this earth of Al-Queda. How about instead of bitching about what other countries do and get involved to help get rid of the problem. I bet when Poland has a problem that the US will be the first ones there to aid you. I think we should stop worrying about everyone else and take care of our own for once and let eveyone else take care of themselves for once

  • @2010CamaroSS2man I TOTALLY AGREE

  • @2010CamaroSS2man Poland still has got troops in Afghanistan (but its less than 3000 men there). However our army is during transformation which isnt going well (too small investments, corruption in Ministry of Defence, defraudations etc). You cant get rid of Al Queda by force. Actually you could but that would require a lot more soldiers on the ground in for example Afghanistan, like 2 -3 milions! And even then they can hide in Pakistan or behind any border.

  • @Anarchizer everyone will agree with me when i say it doesn't matter who any of us are trying to put out of power because they are power hungry but, there will always be some one to take their place or some one else some where else starting shit that all of us allied nations will have to go put a foot in their ass, its the way of the world and everybody wants to be in charge or running the show their way so us sane people try to put them in their place and try to keep them there or kill them!!!!

  • @2010CamaroSS2man If I said anything wrong about Marines then I now truly apologize.I saw couple marines defending "occupy wallstreet" in NYC. There was even created a movement "Occupy Marines" who are defending the protesters against the violence of the police. I now know my mistake. I judged the whole marine corp of doing what is wrong, but at some point I was quite right at the same time. We are all tools in hands of our politicians who treat us like cattle.

  • @Anarchizer no worries its all good!!! And your right, treated like cattle but, ot will all pay off after i retire and move back into civilian life!!!

  • @Anarchizer ah i see now your from Poland so probably no chance of you coming to me for that ass whooping!!! What has Poland ever done in there whole POLOCK exsistence, uuummmm oh yea NOT ONE FUCKING THING except getting their ass kicked in everything they ever fucking tried to do, your weak and always will be!!!!

  • @2010CamaroSS2man Poland may lost IIWW but at least we didnt stand by when half of the world was enslaved by Nazi Germany. And USA didn't help us because it was a decent thing to do. You helped because that war threatend your economy, and for business. So dont tell me anything about Poland at least we have been true to what we belived in, what cannot be told about USA.

  • OOHFUCKIN'RAH

  • god bless the ARMY, AIR FORCE, NAVY, MARINES THEY HAVE DONE ALOT FOR THIS COUNTRY

  • "Keep out of our way, liberal pussies !!!" 0311... Aug 1985-1989

  • If Marines still had to advance in this formation, We'd be proud to do so.

  • now THATS a marching band

  • I've wanted to be a Marine since I was 5 but due to a disease I have I can't join...my dreams were crushed

  • @MistFist97 aww man im sorry for that. what disease did you have?

  • @2WorldWar2 gittlemens syndromes very rare

  • Even back in 1775, the Marines were still badass motherfuckers!! lol

  • @JawsFan27 AMEN BROTHER! Nov 10, 1775!

  • @JawsFan27 we havent changed much

  • @JawsFan27 Hell yeah they were

  • @JawsFan27 you mean gay-ass motherfucked

  • @1812over2 And you're a ball gazing faggot.

  • Token black guy!

  • Marines never fight in land during the revolutionary war....

  • @DrLynch2009 Yes they did. They also fought on land during the civil war in a few battles.

  • @DrLynch2009 bull shit. theres a couple of battles where it was only marines

  • love the marines but they did not fight land wars during the revolutionary war

  • @aikidomaster95 Correction some did...correct me if am wrong :S

  • the marines did amphibious assaults in the Caribbean islands. In a way they did fight land battles but not in the U.S.

  • LOL @ the random black guy

  • @SearchAndBuild Its not random cause there was black people fighting in the revolution war cause at the end they would be free, and yes the soldiers where free and others where slaves. But back then people had wicked minds.

  • @Thegreatdave1234 u get a vote up from me for knowing your history.

  • UNITED STATES MARINES!! LETS FUCKING GO!

    BRAVE ASS MOFOS!

  • I was all motivated and tingly up to the point where those fuckin' POG's ruined it at :45.

  • @Donnysdonuts420 I think both themes are good cause it shows in the past how the drums motivated the Marines for the US revolution war, and now they motivate us by becoming stronger and keep the legends alive.

  • @Thegreatdave1234 Thanks alot, you know your response makes it really hard to be a dick!

  • @Donnysdonuts420 Hahaha, whatever man. Just saying, they didn't ruin it, its the people commenting those kinds of response that ruin the way this trailer really suppose to be meant. XD lol dick... the real one is the one responding to this respond.

  • fucking band

  • SEMPER FI! THE FIGHTING LEATHERNECKS! OORAH!

  • one advantage america did have during our revolutionary war was that we had rifles(rifled barrel) that actually were accurate.we also used muskets, wich loaded faster.a one-two sorta thing.

  • All militaries fought in this formation/style back in that era. Due to the accuracy, (or lack there of accuracy) of the muskets that they fired. They were so inaccurate the only way to make them effective was to position alot of them close together, (think of it like how a shotgun shell is filled with pellets that spread out). The round balls they shot did not fly straight, granted, accuracy did improve once they started rifling the barrels.

  • really that was most likely when the marines where on boats.... (If you and your a marine please don't flip)

  • Talking about honor! Just witnessing the sheer discipline and coordination of the Drum and Bugle Corps is enough to make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Not a missed step nowhere....nor a failed note....and nary a wrinkle in any uniform. A fantastic outfit that all Americans should be fiercely proud of. That's good stuff!

  • Now those were men who stood for something they believed in.

  • Even back in the 1700's, the Marines were still bad ass!

  • 8 people are lobsterbacks.

  • 全く死をおそれない人々。男のロマンです。

  • anyone know that name to this tune?

  • @whoisbuckey The Marine Corps Hymn

  • @reelgangstazskip no the drum thing at the start

  • @whoisbuckey it's just a marching cadence

  • I' am proud to be a born American citizen.

  • Did they take negros into the Armed Forces back then?

  • @commissarmanul Don't use the term negro. Say it again and someone's gonna fuck you up. I would personally if I had the opportunity. For the record, I'm white, but I do have black relatives. Even if I didn't, I don't tolerate racist pig fuckers, and have the utmost respect for all races and people. I do however begin to lose plenty respect for sub-human scum.

  • @reelgangstazskip

Semantics aside, were blacks allowed to serve in combat units?

  • @commissarmanul Blacks hav efought since King Philips War. Look up at Prince Estabrrok, Prince Whippe, Peter Salem, Salem Poor, Brazilly Lew, etc The DEMOCRAT WWilson brought hardcore segratipon in the military from 1914-1947

  • @USExceptionalism

    Thanks, man

  • @reelgangstazskip

your stupid. My husband is dark skinned, and he says it all the time. He actually doesn't give a crap about words, you know, like people with balls

  • @Marynicole830 Wow, you're not doing a good job there at making your husband look great to be honest. Every man cares about "words" because "words" are what decides where he will be for a few months in the world and if he's going to have to go to war. No Marine enjoys going out and killing people nor risking being killed, it's something done because it has to be and not everyone can/will do it. Not trying to be an asshole, just be careful with your "wording"

    Semper Fi

  • I'm talking about names, and words used to describe people. We both believe that skin color and hair color are the same thing. Both are pigmentation. If you can make a Blonde Joke or a red head joke, you can make a black or white joke.People need to stop being so sensitive over crap like this.

  • And yeah,i was having a bad day and was a little snappy. But I still stand by what I said. And I know no Marine would 'like' to kill(unless some nut got through the cracks)I don't think the Army and Marines are THAT different. Lol. My husband would defiantly have a problem killing someone unless it was in self defense, which it usually is.

  • OOOOORRRRAAAHHH!!!!

  • @LastXdeth Just because we don't fight like that anymore does'nt mean its not orderly. We just don't sit around reloading for 2 minutes hoping to get another shot in while knowing they could shoot you any second. somebody was smart enough to think "hey maybe if we take cover behind trees and rocks we won't die so quickly" trust me we were greatly outnumbered and that change in the form of fighting was something that helped us turn the tide of the American Revolution greatly.

  • @ajmidget94 , Yes, we do go through boot camp and the school of infantry as well. I served 8 years in the Drum and Bugle Corps. There is always some confusion about this but I can assure you we are there. We also go through all of the professional training in our careers such as the NCO school, Sgts Course and run regular physical fitness and all other training as well as regular Deployments. I dont know if this makes us "cooler" to you.

  • I'm not worried about the shit military branches talk to each other, when .... they all save our lives. they all do amazing things. But, no greater love does one have for another but to give up his very own life. God bless and praise you all. Grace and peace, vigilance.

  • wow, THE BAND IS SO COOL! *sarcasm*

i dont think they even have to go to boot camp! haha

  • @ajmidget94 What makes you think they didn't have to complete basic training?

  • @TiamatVarga i think read it some where. am i wrong? that would be much better if they do go

  • @ajmidget94 ALL Marines complete basic training.

  • @Helms113 maybe you could help me out and go blow yourself up. If someone did take his place, I'd pray to Allah and hope SEAL Team 6 never finds me.

  • i think it's a bad idea to fuck with america

  • @TheRealTingAling Don't think. Know.

  • @TheRealTingAling

Actually there isn't really any country that's fucking with USA. America is fucking other countries, and almost only for greed and power.

  • @Flyingtart Actully, this commercial wants to recruit warriors and brave men not pussies and braggers saying, "fuck USA for doing this or doing that", cause when i saw that black man right there marching with the white men he didn't care if they treat him wrong or they tease him for being black, he wants to do his part in the war and also wants to become something. Probably the US government is greedy for power but the men and women in the arm forces are the most elite forces in the world,...

I have nothing against the Marines, and I respect patriots even if I don't like patriotism.

The marines and SAS are two different things. The physical requirments for the marines isn't that high really. You can be kinda unfit and have poor eyesight. The recon marines however could probably be compared to SAS, since they have more alike tasks. SAS is like Navy Seals a special forces, while regular Marines are not.

  • @Flyingtart The Navy seals i meant that why i knew you would comment about the Navy Seals, but the Marines have quite no different training than the special forces but there in the front lines while some do special tasks, but don't you agree that America and England has good and bad ass forces if they stick together.

  • @Thegreatdave1234

But the marines are NOT special forces. Recon Marines are the only ones comparable.

  • @Thegreatdave1234

I actually watched a documentary about a survival course the Marines have in some mountain. Special forces are trained to survive behind the enemy line and would have no probs with it.

For the marines this course is an achievment and challenge. Do they even have survival training in the US marines boot camp? Because they learned simple things that you learn as a kid up here in northen Sweden. Also they complained when it was 14 F outside haha. I think people generalize marines

  • @Thegreatdave1234

Actaully I don't think Marines have much survival training. I watched a documentary about a "feared" survival course that marines could take if they wanted to. They learned simple things about survival that you learn as a kid when you live in northen Sweden where I live. Also they were complaining when it was like 20F warm.

Actually I read about a swedish soldier who tried the marines training. He said it was very comfy compared to the swedish basic training.

  • @Flyingtart Interesting can u send me the link to the video and let me see the marines cause the ones i know are willing to kill anyone that disrespects them, like the comment you put there, you may think its not disrespectful but seriously? Sweden are mostly forest and wilderness am i correct? If not sorry. But here in the US we train in the desert, practice in the cold too. I have no idea where those marines you saw but all i know that the Marines are the best fit for combat, while the...

  • @Flyingtart US seals are best fit for special operations, Sweden has good training but there not close to Israeli commandos, which they train us in our camp. The US seals have good training too best training also led by Israeli commandos. There was a poll saying best Special Forces in the world, US top 5,4,2 and 6, US rangers, The Green Berets, and Delta Force and the Seals. While the Spetsnaz top 10, the french commandos top 9 and the SAS top 1 for being the best special force in the world...

  • @Thegreatdave1234

Polls and reality dude. Hypes do control them. Do you think it's possible to measure which is best without letting
