it was going to happen later but marvel was going bankrupt at that time so they didn't make anymore episodes. but you can read the scripts for season two. google it. they did show a lot of things that were supposed to shown on silver suffer on fantastic four cartoon though. I think they did that because of what happened to the silver surfer cartoon.

there is a comic where surfer went to earth.. helped the fantastic 4 save earth by begging galactus not to destroy it. galactus got pissed and banished him to earth.. and found a new herald(nova). the surfer found a way to leave earth with the help of the fantastic 4. so technically they didnt show that episode or they dont want to cause its a show about the surfer not the fantastic 4. in the movie when surfer seemed to destroy galactus.. that part was bullshit. they need a suitable ending. =D

it is so great so see how so many peep like the silver surfer as much as i did. sucks marvel went bankrupt and they couldnt make a 2nd season. this was a really great show. the s.s. is one of those peeps u can really fear for kinda like nightcrawler. i hope if they do make the spin off movie of him they do a great job.

Galactus decided not to make the same mistake twice. He basically decided that Nova keeps her memory.

You didn't pay careful attention. There was no reason to take Nova's memory away, Nova wanted the job. She supposedly had a gene that allowed her to find whatever SHE SEEKS, and that gene interacted with the Power Cosmic and brought her to Galactus.

But if you remember she said she wanted to find him to take the fight to him. So she only found him because she wanted to fight him. Thats why it doesnt make sense that she serves him willingly.

I think the reasoning is that she was an orphan with no place, and with Galactus, she finally found a place.

I'd say their handling of it in future episodes explains it sufficiently. Nova only leads Galactus to planets without intelligent life and seems very happy with her job, I think the idea is that the Orphan has found a place. BAboss makes a good point too, what is the point of Galactus going through everything he had just gone through over again, that would make him kind of stupid.
