Of the main Jap sports cars, i would put them in this order of preference,

1. Skyline R33/R34 GT-R

2. Mazda RX-7 FD3S Type-R

3. Toyota Supra TT

I can't afford the insurance on a skyline yet so i've decided on an RX-7, the Supra seems a little over the top for the town i live in and i think people would be assholes and key it and stuff out of jealousy. RX-7 is less "in ya face" but still stunning.

@bboy2sik to tell you the truth there is no real best car for drag but something with the potential of having a lot of torque thats wat an american would say but torque alone wont get you down the track

you have to think about aerodynamics also i would recomend my two personal favorites the supra with the 2jz engine and the Nissan skyline R32,R33 and the R34 with the RB engine

From someone who has both a celica and a supra, you are full of shit. Supra is 20x quicker and more fun to race. You'd have to spend something like 10-20 grand building up a 3sgte for a celica to come close.

he is correct they are tail happy with their 1400kg weight slowing them in turns vs. the 800kg Corrolla rally and 4wd celicas, and rally is how quickly you can put the turn up ahead behind you not at what speed your going into the turn.

A 10 second engine would probably be a daily commuter for about a year or so...depending how frequent the use is and the distances. It could probably take you to work and home, and out a few places daily. After a year a crucial rebuild is needed!
