  • They need to work on their communication style....lol

  • Just started watching video. I don't know if they are going to mention Obama, but I have something to say about him . How he fooled many of us that he was a progressive. Obama lied so much in his campaign. But if we did our investigating before voting we would have e.g. read Ricky Hendon's memoir and known far ahead of time that Obama was a slimy corporate whore "liberal" in the same league as the Clintons. I hope some one like Russ Fiengold runs in the primaries. He is a true progressive.

  • We don't need a Ron Paul. We need a William Jennings Bryan.

  • You just pointed out the true beliefs of progressives, you want people to work for you in servitude, we have a word for that, its called slavery, and thats exactly what progressives want. Healthcare, education, etc are not rights, they're goods. In order to give them to someone they must be taken from someone else.

The great thing about free market Capitalism, is that profit can only exist with the approval of his fellow man by purchasing his good or service.

    Quit while you're behind.

  • @jjrglobal We are working in servitude now, to the people who hold the national debt. You think that the poor, sick and old are responsible for the state of our economy? You think people would be more free without protection from government? That the aristocracy has moral, divine authority? Consider who is stealing from whom. Free markets are not free if the people are not. Indonesia has no "big government". Is that what you want America to become?

  • @etzel33

You're right, we are working in servitude now, to an overgrown and out of control progressive government. Government can't protect people you fool. Government caused this whole mess we're in right now. Gov created the Federal Reserve, gov't created the policies that created the housing and now financial crisis and govt is stealing away your liberties. WTF are you talking about idiot

  • @jjrglobal You obviously don't have any knowledge of actual History. The banks pushed for the Federal Reserve, and had been trying since the Federalists under Hamilton. Banks make our money, not government. Our government is owned by the debt-holders. There WERE people, patriots, who believed in ideas like Democracy, where the people somewhat CONTROL their government, not let it be owned by corporate or banker control. Fool?

  • @etzel33

Thats pretty funny considering Ive been studying the Fed for going on 25 years. Ive read Jekyll Island honey, and about twenty other books dedicated to this specific subject. I guess what you fail to realize is that the Fed is a hybrid quasi gov/private industry that is being USED to grow government by PROGRESSIVES. For gods sake the Fed was created by a Progressive, Woodrow Wilson. Watch who you call a dumbass, one glance at my channel would have prevented you from looking foolish

  • @jjrglobal All that education and you rely on Wikipedia for a summary. ROFL You don't have much understanding of poltical history. What made Wilson a "progressive". He was a banker. And what does a label matter. the 1st US bank, the 2nd... stopped by Jackson. Lincoln greenbacks... Bryan's cross of gold speech... What are you a Mises disciple? Gold gonna save us? NO MORE GOVERNMENT DEBT, and END FRACTIONAL RESERVE LENDING.

  • @etzel33

You're making my arguments for me. Name 1 progressive that wants to end the Federal Reserve? Progressives love having the Fed to fund all their spending, none of them would ever consider even discussing abolishing the Fed. You talk out of both sides of your mouth, on one hand you bad mouth Mises and on the other you praise getting rid of the Fed. My idea isnt a gold standard, although that would be better than what we have now.

  • @jjrglobal Dennis Kucinich... and learn your history a bit before mouthing off like you have divine inspiration or something. I'll bad-mouth Mises all day buddy. Did you know he was financed initially by the Rockefeller Foundation. ROFL... They want to go back to private, uncontrolled banking, not monetary reform.

  • @etzel33

I think government should issue our money, debt and interest free. They could do this as a strictly enforced percentage of GDP in lieu of income taxes. Since inflation is nothing more than a necessary hidden tax, this would be fair to all since it would tax every citizen the same, the people that had saved would be hit inflation, that would be my only problem with it. Since the money would be issued debt and interest free, a lot of built in failure would disappear from the system IMO

  • @jjrglobal Now this is strange... now you're all about monetary reform? If government stopped issuing bonds, and if banks were required to be 100% capitalized, then you're right... inflation and deflation could be eliminated under the plan you propose. Where's the hangup you have with my comments earlier?

  • @etzel33

Why is it strange that I understand money? I told you Ive been studying monetary policy for 25 years. I disagree with your progressive stance, because it goes completely against the abolition of the Fed. Like I said, name 1 progressive beside yourself that even talks about killing the Fed. There are none, because they use the Fed as their piggy bank to pay for the deficits. I also disagree with your belief that my system would eliminate inflation, it wouldn't. It would guarantee it.

  • @etzel33

Inflation is the growth in money supply. Under my system there would be monetary growth based on a % of GDP. This would mean that the money supply would always grow at a fairly steady and forecastable rate. This would be necessary to make up for the interest charged by banks to consumers and businesses. I'm not sure, but I believe the growth in money supply would directly correlate with the amount needed to pay the interest to banks, since it would be based on a % of GDP

  • @etzel33

The banks wouldn't need to be 100% capitalized. There is nothing wrong with Fractional Reserve banking. If they had to be 100% capitalized, then there could never be another loan made, and our economy would go back to the dark ages

  • @jjrglobal Only if you think that money is debt (credit), which is what it has become. Please watch Secret of Oz and give it an honest review. I have it linked on my channel.

  • @etzel33 .

I'll check it out. In the system that I had in mind most of the money created would still be issued as debt by banks. Only the money put into circulation by gov would be debt and interest free, but it would still be an increase in the overall money supply, which by definition is inflation.

  • ALL PROGRESSIVES LISTEN: There was a man who tried to implement your vision of utopia. He took a group of idealist progressives to their own private piece of land. To where it wasn't based on individual but rather collective ideas such as you promote. This man was dearly loved. Respected as a visionary. Followed the "progressive' code of ethics to the movement. The followers did so with enthusiasm. That great man? Was Jim Jones. It ended in guns, fences, and arsenic spiked Kool-Aid. EPIC FAIL!

  • @SuperGuitarman69

"Childhood acquaintances recalled Jones as being a "really weird kid" who was "obsessed with religion ... obsessed with death", and claimed that he frequently held funerals for small animals, and had reportedly fatally stabbed a cat as a young child."

Yes, a fair and balanced example you got there. I wonder why it failed... If you want to know what real progressives want, look at Europe. Nothing more, nothing less.

People don't scream about change there, because they are HAPPY.

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral Progressives want one thing. They want a one world government. They want a government that tells the people how to live. What to eat, drink, who is their healthcare provider, what you can do, think, say etc... They are for destroying the individual for the sake of the collective. The progressive fails at everything in life. They fail in competition for they have zero skills. Therefore they get into politics to manipulate the system into crony capitalism to destroy the.. Part 1

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral ones who do it better than they do. Those who scream CHANGE? Do not understand that change means going to a system of government that has never worked. EVER. Freedom requires personal responsibility, integrity, common sense, percervance, hard work, values. Everything a progressive is void of. This is why the Democrats had to do away with the word Liberal, leftists, and now their new word progressivism is now known as a dirty word. No matter what you call it it is still Communism

  • I thought we could have serious grown up conversation about without insults and lies. Alas I was wrong.

    peace

    salty

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral No, that insult and lies comment doesn't apply nor work. The progressive chant of rascism and lies is over. I tell truth. You cannot handle it. WHO CARES. People in this country have to hear the truth spoken in plain english. What the progressive movement means. What will be the effects of it. And WHO is the progressive movement and WHY they hold such views. It isn't an insult or a lie. It is simply the truth. Put in non PC language to illustrate it in it's naked form!

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral

You they look real happy over in England, Greece, Spain and all the other places where austerity measures will have to take place to keep from going bankrupt. The problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other peoples money, and eventually has come early.

  • @jjrglobal

That is a terrible argument. Pointing out three struggeling nations that just happen to be socialist and say thats why it failed. What about all the other social democracies, why didn't they fail?

I could just say then that Norway does much better than US on any statistidc you can find, are happier, and average income is higher(all that is facts). See how that backfired?

US is the most capitalistic nation today, and its economy is HORRIBLE!. You are litterary being carried by China.

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral

The US is not even close to the most Capitalistic. China is more Capitalistic than us.

How do your happier statistics work? Do all the people from Norway come and live for a while over here and then determine what they like best with Americans doing the same thing and then the survey is done??? How does your happiness statistic work? I think you've just proven just how much statistics mean. They dont mean shit, you are responsible for your own happiness dumbass

  • @jjrglobal

    1/2

    Please don't resort to insults.

I disagree that China is more capitalitic, but even if it is, that just strenghten my argument even more, becayse China is a bad place to live compared to the US or Europe.

Of all my statistic the "happiness" one is the least meassurable. But all the other is!

The idea behind the happyness meassuring was to see if there where a relationship between for instance higher income / education / healthcare ect and overall happyness.

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral

China is going thru the same growing pains that every emerging economy must go thru, we went thru ours in the late 18 and early 19 hundreds. China is a bad place to live compared to here because they were Communist up until the 1980's, theyve got a lot of catching up to do

  • @jjrglobal

    2/2

You are reponsible for your own happyness yes. But its easier to find that happyness in a society that works FOR you, not against you.. For instance, not have to worry about medical bills, or if you can afford to educate your child ect takes alot of stress away.

Also 37,5 hour work week, 5 weeks paid vacation per yer, a full year maternity leave ect is stuff that just makes your life quality better.

This explains better than me:): /watch?v=k4L6-0WRfSA

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral Another useful comparison is wealth disparity which correlates to social problems. The correlation can be found when comparing similar countries around the world. A particularly good comparison can be made between the US & Germany. Both are major global economies & the data helps to explain some of the reasons for why Germany has a better economy & why Germany has lower rates of social problems.

  • so all the comments below be are agianst progress?

ya "if you were ment to fly god would have given you wings"

  • wow...more liberals who like the sound of their own voice...big shocker

  • these guys are grade a assholes

  • Does progressivism make any sense to anyone. All these people get up and talk about all these statistics about what the people want according to their survey of god knows who. Go around and ask people what policies Obama has about anything. Voters dont know dick, if they did Ron Paul would be president

  • @jjrglobal until Ron Paul actually has solutions instead of criticizing all the time, he will not be taken seriously. A guy who says private businesses should be allowed to discriminate on the basis of race, gender or sexuality is not someone libertarians should support. But since he has a grandpa facade, you guys fall for it.

  • @okayplayer82

Thats the beauty of it, Ron Paul knows government cant and shouldn't solve problems, and they certainly cant dictate morality or decency.

  • @jjrglobal

And let corporations and multinationals fill the vacuum?

    No thanks.

  • @jjrglobal

NO! Ron Paul has an excellent foreign policy, but it stops there. That man, and other people who think like Ayn Rand have very little knowledge about human beings as a group. They only see and care about the individual.

"The free market" is close to fascism. In a free market, the market will be God, and you will be judged accordingly. Real values will be trashed and each indivials market value will be all that counts.

It will basicly be the end of the human rights list.

  • @jjrglobal Just read your post. Excellent post my friend!

  • To really understand what these people are all about read the book titled "American Progressivism."

    Go Big Brother!

  • "Lots of Mark's around here."

    Funny, lots of Marxists too.
