To all of you guys, who don't get the idea behind this "game"

First of all: This isn't a game. It is a demonstration for HDR (High Dynamic Range) Effects, so you get an idea for how this new kind of lightning works and looks. Try turning on the commentary in the options menue. As you proceed it will tell you all about it (like water reflections, lights through windows etc.) It's very interesting, because HDR was just being developed at that time. That's why you cannot call Lost Coast a Game.

It's a demonstration of HDR - so no real game (it was made for episode 1 but was then taken for a preview on HDR which at that time was a whole new thing)

@Forfeit23 that kinda sucks, i got this from buying 2 nVidia GTX250's (SLI ofc)

and it's not even a "full" game, 3-4 headcrabs lots of police asses. Other than that the game was kinda boring. of course u got Half Life 2 Deathmatch too, but that's only online, and i wish it was more singleplayer on that, so i could have something to practice on. And i also got, um, Portal: The First Slice. Whatever that is XD

Thats the lost coast. If u tought it was HL2 it wasn't that. Valve made Lost Coast because they were testing out some new things about the graphic and things.

I really was kinda sloppy on doing the right things, but because this is a one shot walkthrough, I would have needed to make the whole thing again and because some sound passages were just perfect I left it that way. Still thx for posting
