  • Oooh Gideon you do tell woppers!

  • @sail1948 lol!!!

  • This man couldn't care less about those on middle incomes

  • oi cameron i ask again where is our vote on the lisbon treaty

  • THE TORIES HAVE JUST LET VODAFONE OFF WITH £6 BILLION IN TAXES!!!!

For more info check out Private Eye article "BRITAIN’S £6BN VODAFONE BILL"

This is tax evasion and corruption at the highest levels!!

  • @andlookmore yes and they want me to go bankrupt over 1000 pounds unpaid council tax im changing my name to mr voda fone

  • Who better to complain about dishonesty than Gideon 'George' Osborne. 'All in this together' my arse. Liar.

  • Oh, hello puppet number 3... What flavoured smoke screen do you have in store for us today then?

  • I notice all the people complaining are the ones with loads of time on their hands, the ones sitting indoors watching Jeremy Kyle and getting their benefits.

You are the minority, most the country is happy with the budget, and the welfare bill will get slashed, and your lives will be affected.

You should be ashamed of yourselves, you people who don't work or even try to work, you're a disgusting example to your kids, and you need putting down.

Well done Osborne, hit these lazy yobs.

  • @JusticeSeeker1000 What planet are you living on? Most of this country is NOT happy with the budget, in fact the Tories have lost some of their own supporters since and they weren't in a good position to begin with, or has the fact they had to join with the Liberals in order to function somehow escaped you? Furthermore, how you can spout such depraved drivel at any time, let alone during a recession which has seen 100,000's of peope lose their employment? You are a contemptible moron.

  • @JusticeSeeker1000 I work and your comment is a load of shite.

  • @JusticeSeeker1000 Your comments are so offensive. Do you honestly think the only people against what this budget is doing are those on benefits? The tories better be careful, if they keep attacking the vunerable, and taking chances away from population there will be a lot of angry people out there. It is one thing to mis-manage the budget/defecit but to take away peoples dignity and life chances... Disgusting is not a strong enough word.

  • Osborne is an eccentric man but

what he says is perfectly sensible.

  • George Osborne is an arrogant and cocky man; he said on live TV that the public only have two choices Tory or Labour, well I have been a Tory all my life. BUT NO MORE. My wife and I with friends will be voting [ LibDem ]

  • @UBUBBOO The Liberals haven't won an election since 1910. I think he's fair to say it's a two party system, also, look at the seats, most people did vote Tory or Labour.

  • Of course they will cut spending. When the economy faces a double dip in the recession, they will blame the last government.

Notice how he was writing in the book. He was pretending to write; writing on text words not on blank spaces like the margins.

  • taxes on everything keeps going up year in, year out but rent never drops, payscales don't move - except for this elite mob

  • using 'dishonest' in the title is not wise !

Osborne one of the people who claimed £47 expenses for home dvd's? and is this the same man who tried to solicit a £50,000 donation from a russian tycoom ? £55,000 he also fiddled the tax payer out of over his 'second home' mortgage claim, not forgetting his chauffers expenses he claimed for and these are just the things we know about

they do alright don't they yet the need to 'top up' their immense salary with theft

    or am i wrong?

    :)

  • Where is little George going?

That`s the toilet. That`s where he has his brilliant epiphanies. How to put and keep the working classes in eternal misery.

A nasty party never loses its nastiness.

  • This man is an absolute fool. Lord protect us if this man is our next Chancellor. Perhaps the Tories could change tactic and instead of blaming Labour all the time, concentrating on how we got into this situation, start looking to the future and actually state what your damned policies are! Scepticism is the Tories only economic policy in opposition

  • Is it just me or does George look pissed?

  • @vidinf4eice

Yeah, he does a bit. But then again if you had to sit through an hour of Darling's bullshit, I think anyone would look a bit pissed.

Seriously, I watched the report live on BBC Parliament, and it was ridiculous.

  • COMPLETE AMATEUR.

  • HE said WE are All in this TOGETHER<< what a load of bollacks

  • does he mean 'David Cameron and I'?

  • Even though I like Ozzy, he is a complete lightweight when it comes to economics. Even I know more about economics than him, though economics is to me what sex is to a nymphomaniac. He floundered when the banking crisis intensified and flip flopped on several issues. He had an easy ride before then. It is time to put someone with economic or financial experience in his place. Osborne only has his position because Cameron believes in jobs for the boys. Its time to return to conservatism

  • George is a likeable chap, and seems to be intelligent, but he just dosen't look the part of Chancellor, and to be frank, in a time of economic crisis, I'd prefer somebody with a better degree than a 2:1 in modern history. I want someone with economics and business experience.

Make John Redwood the Chancellor, and he will strike fear into the hearts of the socialists on the Labour benches.

  • thats right george you tell them theres no room for dishonesty

  • Spending restrain, eh?

For WHOM is all the gov money spent?

Schools and police and universities and research and social benefits (do you really want to starve the unemployed?).

Do you really want these spendings to be cut?

Taxes on alcohol and petrol don't seem too bad.

Slight tax rises for ALL above 20.000 pounds / year doesn't sound too bad either.

Don't forget that Osborne was the one to suggest to scrap the inheritance tax which mainly affects the RICH and the UEBERRICH.

  • I like David Cameron, but I don't trust George Osborne at all. Why does he hang out on yachts, with dodgy oligarch billionaires, with Peter 'Snake-in-the-grass' Mandelson of all people?

  • And he's funded by his friend Nat Rothschilds (of the Mega rich Zionist family of the same name)...who is also a friend of Peter Mandelson.

  • 1 conspiracy theory

    2 anti-Semitism

    3 homophobia

--you cover them all, don't you.

  • Just conspiracy theory.

I'm not homophobic (don't know where you got that from) or antisemetic although i am anti Zionist.

    1 out of 3

  • REPEAT:

    1 conspiracy theory

2 anti-Semitism (unless "Semite" refers to Iranians and anyone non-Jewish; and you're fine with Jews as long as they don't want a country of their own)

    3 homophobia--evil Peter Mandelson

    --you do cover them all.

(For purposes of classification, monsters under your bed, figures behind the curtains and a shadow behind every lamp post would fall under #1 above.)

  • I have no problem with Mandelsons homosexuality, it is his contempt for democracy and therefore contempt for the people that I have a problem with.

Why should the Jews have their own country?

If I was to say the English are entitled to have a country of their own I would surely be called a racist.

  • You seem to want to paint me as some kind of paranoid loon which would be justifiable if there was no evidence to back it up, but there is evidence that a powerfull elite is pushing for one World Government.

There is a video on my channel called 'nwo from the mouthes of the elite' Presidents and PM's and others of high status talking about conspiracy. There is also a speech by JFK talking about conspiracy shortly before he was killed.

  • Review the following:

1 number of years since JFK

2 number of years since WW coined the phrase--HINT: it was before even the League of Nations came into being.

3 NEWS: a video clip created by a conspiracy theorist who has yet to outgrow his belief in MONSTERS UNDER HIS BED--or a blog or a dedicated website--does not constitute fact, nor analysis, nor reality.

    . . .

  • You remind me of this idiot who, upon reading a BBC website article on some genealogists that GW Bush, HR Clinton, BH Obama, Brad Pitt, Angelian Jolie, et al share common ancestors SEIZED it as "PROOF" that there is a cabal which chooses who gets elected head of state--"conspiracy! conspiracy! new world order! new world order!".

You have no fear of making a fool of yourself, have you?

  • So are you going to tell me the secretive Bilderberg group doesnt exist either? Because Dennis Healey (former Chancellor of the excheqer) is on record as saying that it does.

  • THERE YOU GO AGAIN: being as idiotic as the chick screaming "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!", but without the adorable part.

NEWS FROM THE REAL WORLD: Leaders gather to exchange ideas and map out cooperation, without it being a "CONSPIRACY!" of such sinister nature as your "ILLUMINATI!" or "NEW WORLD ORDER!" obsessions.

    . . .

  • Neither the Bilderberg Group nor the Davos Conference is 'secretive'--there is more plotting when you and your fellow football fans gather at the local pub overpints (and pints and pints), discussing how pissed off you were at rival teams and rival fans, and how you can stand up to and/or get back at them.

You really need to GROW UP--or at least realize that

    1 the monsters under your bed disappear at sunrise;

    2 Narnia ends when you close the book;

3 ET ends when the cinema lights go on.

  • (And no, Dear, you buying and taking home a doll of the character does not mean you have taken home the real thing and that the real thing exists.

(You should watch Sesame Street and Monsters--they teach you that the 'monsters' you fear are figments of your imagination at best, cuddly creatures made up of costumes with innocuous actors inside them at worst.

    (Grow up.)

  • Why are you getting so irate and typing in upper case?

All i was doing was pointing out that our democratically elected representatives and powerfull business people are meeting behind closed doors. For what reason neither you or I know.

Why aren't we allowed to know what the meeting agenda is? why are there no minutes taken? why isn't it mentioned in Parliment?

All perfectly reasonable questions to ask as we supposedly live in a democracy

All seems rather sinister and secretive to me.

  • Even your local association of plumbers

    1 holds regular meetings

2 where you are not invited

3 where the agenda is none of your business

    and

4 which is not "mentioned in Parliament".

And when they gather at someone's house to exchange ideas and rub elbows, there are no minutes of the meeting either.

Do not be an idiot. But you can't help that, can you.

  • "where the agenda is none of your business"

    Thank you.

That is the exact arrogant mindset of the Elite. We are just lowly cattle in their eyes.

You bury your trusting head in the sand if you wish, but i prefer to be very sceptical.

  • Why does George Osborne attend the secret and murky BILDERBERG GROUP meetings (the evil Zionist group planning the NWO, google it)?

  • Theres too much hate circulating about all these politicians! People may not be happy with either party but someone has to hold authority and run the country, so even if you believe youre choosing between corrupted and corrupted, isnt it worth giving both sides a chance and choosing the best option instead of condemning both based on history?

  • 0:11- 0:15 is such a brilliantly hilarious shot.

  • Gordon should have seen the Economic Crisis coming, 10 years as Chancellor and 2 Years as Prime Minister. He didn't fix the roof when the sun was shining.

    IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE.

  • With the City's UEBERRICH in one's neck NOBODY could do anything.

If Brown had wanted to fix the Economic Crisis (which could have EASILY been done by imposing stricter regulations on investment banking / hedge funds / credit loans) then the UEBERRICH who were all earning huge profits on these harmful things (!!) would have started a smear campaign against Brown.

Have a look at who has a say in the tabloids / news / broadcasting comp. & then try to argue Brown could have done anything!!

  • It is you duty to question those MPs who attend BILDERBERG

  • BILDERBERG ATTENDEE

  • It's been a long time since I've heard an honest statement from the Government. Keep pushing George.

  • voting does NOT result in an exchange of power-its just a con trick to make you think we have freedom of choice.

Exchange a red puppet for a bue one if you must-the puppeteers remain the same.

  • Did this guy apologise over the Iraq invasion? I think not. When will they ever say sorry for that?!

  • Bilderberg Group = Zionist New World Order.

GEORGE OSBORNE ATTENDS BILDERBERG GROUP SECRET MEETINGS - he cannot be trusted whatsoever.

Tories or Labour, Democrat or Republican, red or blue, they are all in the same secret clubs, of pure self-interest and greedy, Zionist global domination and war-mongering.

  • They aren't all part of the NWO. JFK went his own way and look what happened to him.

  • ANTONJON1

    > the NWO ... JFK--look what happened to him

JFK: elected 1961 (forty-eight years ago), assassinated 1963 (forty-six years ago)--that "new" is nearly half a century old if applied to Kennedy.

Wasn't the term coined even before the League of Nations even came into being--are we then to believe that everything since then has been born of a sinister plot.

I shall go back to the real world now. You should get over your fear of the MONSTERS UNDER YOUR BED sometime before puberty.

  • There is plenty evidence that there is a plot and you don't even have to look hard to find it.

Prime Ministers and Presidents of the United States are on record admitting as much.

  • " The same goes for US presidents. Every one since Jimmy Carter has been a Bilderberg representative. Democrat, Republican - it doesn't matter. They all have the same policies, decided upon at top secret meetings held annually in hidden locations." truefacts co uk

  • Mr Tony Blair was a guest of the annual Bilderberg meeting in 1993, together with his colleague Kenneth Clarke. Hang on a minute though..... Aren't those two on opposite sides? What about Bilderberg attendees Margaret Thatcher and Denis Healey - and you thought we lived in a democracy where your vote actually counted. true facts co uk

  • Whats the point of voting anyway?

The two main parties are identical now. They both embrace the filthy free market so the Capitalists control everything anyway.

New Labour are New Tories, thats why theyre almost as corrupt as the Tories.

They havent quite sunk to the level of Archer, Aitken, Ashcroft and Conway but the Blairites are all Tories at heart so you can be sure they will. Thats what greed does for you.

  • Get rid of Labour and let the Cons win. Only, it's just a change of badge, the Cons will carry on the Fascist work of Lab. They won't repeal anything.

Remember Osborne on a Russion boat? He was with Mandy and Rothschild. Rothschild threatened Osborne publicly, who then retracted and shut his mouth. Our future Chancellor bowing to the supremecy of the real Shadow Government of the UK.

The General Election is about letting us vote for who we want to represent the criminal Rothschilds.

  • Michael Howard and Oliver Letwin had the right idea when they promised to get rid of all the non-job civil servants and Quangos in their election broadcast.

Unfortunately they could not live down the disastrous John Major years and the crippling Tory interest rates that were imposed on mortgage payers. so the wretched Labour got in again and created even more thousands of none- jobs with their fat pension schemes.

  • who's worst: gordon brown or fred the shred?

  • Aye looks like some lean years r ahead...what a bitch...n all thanks to the great Labour Party...ffs please can we make sure the said party r fuckin banned from politics forever...and expelled from every financial institution in the entire world , forever !

  • Comment on THIS year's £175 billion borrowing from accountants. If we doubled income tax for everyone to 40% and 80%, we would be £35 billion short. If we quadrupled VAT to 60% we would cover the shortfall but nobody would go shopping. If we abolished the entire NHS, closed all hospitals and doctors, and closed all state schools, we would still be about £15 billion short. Now that is frightening!

  • finish uni this summer, thanks to gordon, the whole of my working life i will be paying for this. to me, it feels like i will be carrying a really shitty tatoo for the rest of my life.

  • I really sympathise. The way this government has just dumped the costs of its own appalling mismanagement of the public finances on the likes of you and your children is frankly disgusting.

You know what to do - kick them out and make sure they don't come back.

  • every time i (and my kids) will open my pay check, when i look at the tax bit of it, i will always be reminded why it is so high. i think they should break it down, and then indicate how much is going to fund gordons big social experiment.

  • That's why I totally agree with David Cameron's decision to publish every public sector cost over £25,000. Let's see exactly what Gordon has been mortgaging everyone's future on. If, as I suspect, he's been on an unconrollable spending splurge then everyone can decide for themselves whether they want this silly little party re-elected again. Don't forget he's doubled tax revenues in 12 years. What has his party achieved with all that money?

  • @BVAppleSeed we will this goverment wont make a 2nd term were losing nurses hospital beds and they are treating the unemployed like criminals yet they give more and more money to europe and other countrys

  • The day of financial reckoning is too close for comfort..

  • Well said sellobic.

  • Also, did anyone notice Brown looking daggers at the Polish premier recently when he said that his country is still growing because there is firm regulation of the Polish banks and that he didn't think that it is a sensible thing for any government to borrow vast sums of money!

  • How can you compare Poland to GB? shall i explain?

  • Yes please. Let's compare a country that has sound fiscal policies to a country that is in danger of going bankrupt!

  • You need to get out and meet people and maybe do a few things old man. Its not such a bad world really you know. What about fishing or golf? Macrame maybe?

  • What does anybody think about MPs expenses? First Brown hands it over to the independent commission headed by Kelly to sort out, then he asks the other parties to get involved, then he ignores their comments, then he decides he knows best and posts a comic video on YouTube, then everybody complains including his own MPs, then he backs down from a vote in the Commons and now he ends up handing it over to Kelly agaqin! What a farce!

  • Dishonest Budget???? No its an forecast into the future. THe facts are that the UK governmentaly policy will not get the UK out of recession what ever they do, it all depends on external forces mainly the US economy and Banking System, which run independently of the UK economy. This may be the worse recession since the war, or not, there is no way of knowing what the future hold, the only true forecasting and HONEST forecasting would be to say, we dont know and nobody does.

  • It's a dishonest budget because he has said how much he wants to borrow but NOT said how he intends to pay it back

  • ok big shot, you seem to say a lot on here and you seem to be very knowledgable, just answer me one thing, what are the conservatives policies? because all i hear is attacks on labour.

  • Cameron is quite right to wait until nearer the election because otherwise Labour simply nick his policies! Now that he has kept quiet, Labour MPs are moaning because they turn up to Parliament with nothing to do! Serve them right!

  • Which labour MPs are you referring to?

  • The press won't divulge names as well you know. The usual Labour 'initiative' about scrapping intrusive personal communications on a database (but they won't be because all internet providers will still need to keep records), the denial that the Gurkhas have a right to stay here despite the fact they laid their lives down for this country (but those that were admitted under current immigration policy were more deserving?) and what else? Gordon's 'let's pay MPs more for less.' What a joke!

  • BVAppleSeed IS A SAD OLD FART. HE NEEDS TO STOP READING THE DAILY MAIL, and chill out.

  • so many lefty's all in total denial!! borrowing £700 BILLION and it will be much more than that!! so the way to get out of debt is to plunge our selves into more debt than we have ever known!! when we try to put a fire out we dont normally use petrol!!

and don't even try to compare this to anything the conservatives did during the early 90's black wednesday was caused by east Berlin being taken on by Europe and cost us £900 million!! we got that back way before 97!! judgement will come!!

  • I don't think people realise how much this borrowing is going to cost us. Just paying the interest is likely to cost us over £60 billion a year - more than our entire education budget. So when Labour talk about Tory cuts, think what we could do with £60 billion a year that could be spent on schools and hospitals!

  • Awful poll for Labour. With the local nd euro elections only 5 weeks away. Its a labour meltdown I cant now see labour ever regaining the publics favour. An absolute drubbing awaits them in May.

Will the public except a 2nd unelected Labour leader??, without a rapid general election? Labour will do themselves even more damage hopefully.

I know constitutionally they could do it, but I dont remember a party precedent where 2 prime ministers in a succsession have not been elected.

  • The polls get better by the day! Labour spinners on here comments WELCOME.

  • ComRes show 19 point Tory lead

Posted on April 27th, 2009 by Anthony Wells ComRess monthly poll for the Independent is out, of CON 45%(+5), LAB 26%(-2), LDEM 17%(-1).The figures are almost the same as yesterdays YouGov poll in the Sunday People. so far it's looking as if, between the rows over MPs expenses smeargate and the budget we have seen a further shift against Labour and we are back into Tory landslide territory. the June local and Euro elections arent looking pretty for Labour.

  • and no im not a brown supporter

  • why do the rich moan moan moan constantly. 50p rate is not bad when this mess the great free market has caused needs to be sorted out. perhaps the government should have refused to help banks at all . then all your fancy pensions savings and shares would be worthless. you greedy bastards make my blood boil. i hope you all rot in hell

  • the rich also pay for your benefits and your free healthcare you free loader

  • CONCLUSION: I find it equally depressing that only one Labour MP has recently stood down in disgust at what has happened to traditional Labour values. I have no time for this government. It is time to rid this country of the rotten disease in government that is in danger of infecting everyone with a terminal cancer. It is time to banish this dishonest, financially illiterate, morally bankrupt, class-obsessed Labour party to electoral oblivion for a very long time.

  • its not the labour government you should look at, its yourself, i've just read some of your detritus and bile and it seems you are very unhappy and i dont think a conservative government would change that in the slightest. i pity you

  • I'm quite happy thank you very much!

  • Bile = can't confront the truth. Sad really. Calling names doesn't produce a cherent argument!

  • what is the truth? You? are you the truth?

  • Well said BVA. Did you notice that sellobic could not respond to any of the failings you listed of this government. Instead he resorts to abusive remarks; a typical response from one who has lost the arguement.

  • Yep - loads of McBrides amongst Labour supporters!

  • ok bigjohnnyboyo, abusive remarks? moi? where? I'm an imbecile and enjoy like-minded company on webcameronuk, big it up.

  • Labour Legacy Part 3: Using the public finances for party political purposes,

spinners' who are prepared to 'bury bad news' when several thousand people have just lost their lives, and politicians who think it is right to prosecute their opponents in Parliament

under criminal law for doing what they are elected by their constituents to do. Does anybody want to add to this?

  • Labour Legacy Part 2: An immigration system that allows 'students' from Al-Quaeda to come here and plot to 'blow us up', roads full of potholes, a rail

system that is too expensive for lower income earners to use to go to work, councils that use anti-terrorism laws to spy on your rubbish, police who consider citizens their 'enemy', and

'initiatives' repeated ad nauseam to convince people that something is being done when the intention is to do nothing at all

  • Labour Legacy Part 1: I often ask myself what has this government achieved in the last 12 years? Possibly starting a war under false pretences, a failure to secure our energy supplies for the future, a failure to confront climate-change, an education system where 20% of primary school children haven't mastered the basics of English and Maths, and an NHS that is so demoralised from targets that it is a real struggle to care for their patients properly

  • I am totally sickened with the state of our country and all thanks to brown and labour, I am unemployed and look for jobs everyday, its a waste of time as they are no jobs its so depressing and mind numbing, I really feel sorry for the Tories and what they will have to do to get us out of this depression, still only 1 year to go till labour gets the boot. I am so looking forward to that day

  • CDC to mix avian, human flu viruses in pandemic study

    Robert Roos News Editor

Jan 14, 2004 (CIDRAP News) One of the worst fears of infectious disease experts is that the H5N1 avian influenza virus now circulating in parts of Asia will combine with a human-adapted flu virus to create a deadly new flu virus that could spread around the world.

That could happen, scientists predict, if someone who is already infected with an ordinary flu virus contracts the avian virus at the same time.

Stop talking crap because your lot will shit on us on behalf of the bankers and finance olygarchs in the same venal manner as new labour or perish the thought lib dems. You're pro EU and would march us off into a fedral fascist police state dictatorship just as fast as jock turpin has. Your all cheeks on the same arse. I want a government that's for the people, not scumbags that hide in the shaddows

  • I believe it was the Labour party that bounced us into the EU without consulting the voters. Monitoring all communications, ID cards, medical records available to all and sundry - yep, it's good old Labour!

  • It matters not who bounced us into the EU, as i said all 3 main parties will crap on us for the simple fact none of them actually work for the people for whom they are entrusted to serve. They work for the corporations and finance capital. oh and that's Fascism. It's the same agenda being pushed throughout the democratic world all in the name of "national security" and david cameron WILL NOT change a thing. Wake up my love we're beng enslaved so is the US, CANADA, NZ, EUROPE, and many more.

  • nope

  • before 1997, teaching wasn't in the top 50 most desired occupations, those tories eh? they make me want to rip a tissue up in anger.

  • Can you believe the hypocracy of the Tories?

Its their friends in the banking industry that have stolen our money.

Do they think we have forgotten Thatcher and Tebbit? 4 million unemployed just to undermine the workers fight for a bigger share of the wealth that THEY produce?

Have we forgotten the change of culture in the 80's to a greedy selfish society?

So whats their answer - vote the upper class twits back in so that they can give us workers another good kicking. What a laugh!

  • Wrong again - it's Brown who had the bankers as advisors and who relaxed regulation. 4 million is also wrong - it was 3 million - shortly to be excceeded by this government! You only have to look at the behaviour of labour politicians to see where the greed comes from!

  • hands up if you read the daily mail

  • Wrong again! I like the idea that very qualified people who have lost their jobs have decided to go into teaching! That's much better than manipulating statistics to such an extent that no company or university believes A level results anymore!

  • Are you serious BV? The bankers and the owning classes have been robbing us for hundreds of years. Only a narrow-minded and hypocritical Tory could accuse New Labour of greed with a straight face.

Of course NL are greedy, theyre all Tories.

You think Rupert Murdoch would back real Labour?

So New Labour are to blame for relaxing the rules but the bankers are not to blame for taking advantage of them? Amazing! Daily Mail Reader?

And unemployment - 4 million REAL unemployed under The Witch!.

  • Robbing you of what exactly? You mean the wealth that they have created for this country? The public sector doesn't create wealth - it consumes it. I'm not interested in a narrow-minded view that thinks communism is the answer to anything. No more 10-year trractor plans, thank you. The welfare state that stops you sleeping under waterloo bridge is created by these people.

  • "Robbing you of what exactly? You mean the wealth that they have created for this country? The public sector doesn't create wealth - it consumes it" - Robbing me of a fairer share of the wealth cake that WE produce. They contribute nothing to the country. They are money changers! Creaming off the top and creating wealth for themselves! Who mentioned the public sector? - You! The public sector are services. You want to profit out of healing the sick or teaching our kids? Typical Tory!

  • the tories put more ordinary people out of work than any other party in history. the sods.

  • BV -I wish Labour would just go asap they have nothing more to offer and only serve to hinder.

The budget is a disgrace and offers no path to recovery at all ,only a misguided belief that drowning us in debt to fund a massively bloated public sector will aid the recovery whilst the private sector is on its knees. When will they learn "spending" is not the same as "investing" ?

  • the tories, in particular thatchers government, were responsible for the highest tax burden on individuals in history. the cunts.

  • You ain't seen nothing yet - your party'ss irresponsible management of the country's finances mean that you owe about £3000 to the Inland Revenue each year for the next 23 years! This is much worse.

  • whos my party then? do i know you? have we met?

  • how can you compare Thatcher with a government who has left the country's finances in the worst state since the 1930's? what's your problem? do you really want us to go begging to the IMF because we've run out of money? stop quoting Thatcher - this is previous labour government history!

  • Agreed BVappleseed - Also I'd like a parliament that honours its promise to hold a referendum on The Lisbon Treaty. I believe William Hague is going to , in the run up to The Euro Elections, bring up the issue of how Labour has sold us out and given away 85% of our Parliamentry Sovereignty against the will of the majority therefore making a mockery out of our democracy.

  • Totally agree. This is supposed to be a democracy!

  • Even better - how about removing 85% of labour MPs because they obviously have their work load reduced!

  • And all credit to Cameron/Osborne. They know that the state is living well beyond its means. It's time to give back the state's powers to ordinary people so that they can make their own decisions about how thay want to live their lives. No, I don't want everything I do to be monitored - that's Stalinism. I don't want disgraced politicians to be reinstated. I don't want Chancellors to play cheap political games with the country's finances. And I want honour and integrity returned to politics.

  • I don't like the Tories that much either, but let's face it, in our 2 party system, voting Conservative is the ONLY way to get rid of Gordon Brown and his cloak and dagger government of liars.

  • Agreed. And if there was any justice, Labour would stay in opposition until the misery that they are about to cause the 'hard-working' families of this country through their debt, is paid off - 23 years sounds about right!

  • No, you regulate with a firm touch, to try and keep a steady economy. Saying he copied the US in no excuse at all, and if the EU did the same, why are we worst-placed to recover? Oh, could be because Brown sold off all the gold reserves at the bottom of the market, and other similar flashes of brilliance from the Iron 'no return to boom and bust' Chancellor, Mr Prudence.

  • Did you notice how Brown encouraged the IMF to sell off more gold - looks like he admitted his action was a serious mistake. Also look how the gold price has bounced back as more and more people (including China) think that some currencies aren't worth the paper that is written on them!

  • tory twat...

  • Another one who's got nothing useful to say

  • Thanks (:

  • Gordon Brown is the one who CAUSED the financial mess (by totally encouraging financial deregulation and a very light touch by the FSA, to allow the unsustainable credit upon which his 'boom years' were built) - and now he wants us to believe he is the big hero coming to fix it all? I can't stand him.

Allowing Gordon Brown to try and fix the financial mess is about as sensible as employing Josef Frtizl as a babysitter!

  • It's true that he didn't favour regulation of the banking sector, but note that his approach was similar to that of the US and the EU, excluding Spain. Harsher regulation harms your banks' ability to compete internationally -- so do you regulate and hope for a recession that proves you right to do so? Or deregulate and hope there isn't one?

In summary, it's a bit more complicated than that.

  • Labour should win the general election, but people should really give Lib Dems more credit and look into them more.

Theyre usually the ones to come up with the fundamental policies that make a lot of sense, i think theyd be a good goverment.
