Obama's stimulus, whether his opponents want to admit it or not, has been for the most part successful. Jobs haven't come back as quick as they would have liked or as quick as they predicted, but the GDP, the housing market, the stock market, these things have all improved. They've begun to get repayments on some of the money they lent big banking and job loss has all but stopped and jobs will slowly begin to come back. If anything they should have spent more. Maybe a 2nd stimulus.

But from other hand its not his fault he got it - it wasnt him that decided this. If he is really a decent man he -probably- considered not accepting it (@ least i think he should consider it) but if he would reject NOBEL prize most of US would start flameing his --- and it could only mean more problems...

Obama's stimulus, whether his opponents want to admit it or not, has been for the most part successful. Jobs haven't come back as quick as they would have liked or as quick as they predicted, but the GDP, the housing market, the stock market, these things have all improved. They've begun to get repayments on some of the money they lent big banking and job loss has all but stopped and jobs will slowly begin to come back. If anything they should have spent more. Maybe a 2nd stimulus.

We didnt feel the whiplash effect of it till near the end of his term. Obama in one go passed the deficet of all presidents combined. Sorry...government cannot "stimulate" the economy with intervention.
The only way for any government to "stimulate" the economy is to remove itself and allow the people to keep their wealth; rather than plunder the people and spread their wealth through education, retirement, healthcare, war and handouts.
So long as these measures, in junction with the governments contol of the money supply, are in place...this economy is doomed regardless of the President/Congress.

You need to account for those reenterning the work force and those entering the pork force. The US needs 150,000 new job every month. just becuase we are not losing jobs means that we have stability. 16 states with 20-30% over budget with no federal stimulas this year. state workers and their fail pension/health care system, looking like Europe.

The biggest change in policy is Obama pulling out of Iraq where Bin Laden isn't; to put more troops in Afghanistan, along with our NATO allies. You remember Afghanistan, that's where Bin Laden and Al Qaeda is. Also Obama has begun bombing Al Qaeda targets in Yemen.
Bush stated that "Getting Bin Laden was not big thing".
Since Bin Laden is a leader of Al Qaeda, and personally bragged about destroying the Towers and murdering 3000 folks on 9/11, just what was a big thing for bush?

I moved from the US to another country which is a democracy and has socialized medicine and its great. In fact most of the world have it like Britain, Canada, and most of Europe. Its stupid to think it leads to communism. If it was so 80% of the world would be.

My health care should be a personal responsiblty of my own, and should be betwen my doctor and myself without the govt bening involved, it's an intrusion of my personal life.

It only kills my argument if you are so ignorant that you don't understand what health care means to the American public. Medicare was fought against in the same way, but now is one of the most well thought of.
Other programs which the nut wing right were against: SSI, Voting rights, Clean air & water etc.
Programs very popular & supported by the nut wing right are torture of prisoners, getting rid of regulations on Wall Street, and Cheney/bush, etc. Folks don't think they are so great now.

Ask almost any senior about Medicare, even if they are Republican/monarchist they want it protected.
Republican/monarchists are anti-American. They want to have a centralized powerful Executive branch. Their god is Nixon, the one who said" If the President does it, it is not illegal".
If you vote Republican/monarchist you are voting to be a subject of an oligarchy. If you want clean air and clean water and peoples rights vote Democratic.

Actually he has been in office less than a year, and we here in the US have plenty of hope. When people mature they realize that life is not a video game, it means that actions are ongoing, and take longer than an hour plus commercials to resolve.
Life is not a TV show or a movie. It takes a long time to grow up into an adult. Also remember age is not wisdom, knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to think and plan ahead, not give in to anyone who is trying to pressure you.
