In a consumer society, it is the job of salesman to convince you that you need good credit. If you live only on what you make you eliminate the need for "good" credit. If you can't pay cash you can't afford it. Simple.
The problem with that is, nobody would have an education, a house, a business, or even a car if they only bought what they could afford at any given time.
Right on...its not a credit score, its a DEBT score meaning that they pat you on the back with some dumb "score" because you are willing to agree to finance something you can't afford and incur DEBT.
GOD this country is such a drag, Everything is about money. This country is empty and souless.
