  • schecter hellraiser FTW!

  • @thrashtildeth247 Yup! I love it :D

  • @LukeSnyderMusic i love mine too! great drumming BTW

  • YAaaaaaay

  • sick lol i am not worthy for axis pedals i just use two single kicks from westbury lol

  • dude .... that is kickass.. and so are those pedals. sound is good to!!!!

  • imo is that,if you playing and use the swivel technique, then axis is a lost money.if you playing and use heal-toe then axis is the best pedal for it.so imo again,i think you should try heal-toe instead of swivel :) also tell me what snare you have.

  • Is that a pearl beater?? how much is it? i wanna try them on my demons! .. good drumming :D

  • Any adjustments made or did you put them right on the kit and start playing?

  • awesome vids. The unboxing was epic.

  • what beater are u using there?

  • Needs more reverb.

  • Single-foot blasting isn't a big deal. People have been doing it for years and years. It's just the in thing right now.

    Fuck mainstream.

  • holly shit ur technique looks like chris adler's technique!

  • When I tried Axis I felt like the pedal was getting away from me control wise. They do take getting used to. I will probably test some out along with Tama speed cobra and make decision. Nice Playing.

  • "Triggers do not make you faster on the drums, but practicing double bass will.

A vocalist can sing a lot better if he can hear himself sing, and drummers can play a lot better if they can hear themselves.

but with metal you have so many sound sources competing with one another, regarding volume, that eventually when you get the kicks going faster, their sound just gets lost in the mix, Also, at certain speeds, it becomes hard for the drummer to determine were the actual hits are being played."

  • @Baytron317 Ok? Haha :D

  • @Baytron317 I'm pretty sure he knows what triggers are.

  • @Baytron317 Thats only true if you can't mix, haha.

  • CHEATER !

  • It´s like 1250$ in Europe..... that sucks

  • s how much? like 650$

  • OMG is that you Luke?

  • @StalinStudio It is indeed ;) How have you been man! Haven't heard from you in awhile!

  • @LukeSnyderMusic are you triggering?

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

  • Do you have the black round axis beaters on there? It's kinda hard to tell with the light.

  • @joeydrummer19 just do basic rudiments you would normally do with your hands except try them with your feet. you won't necessarily use these rudiments while playing but they make your leg muscles stronger and more nimble, so single strokes will become a breeze. and practice for fucking hours!

  • SINGLE FOOT BLASTING!!!! YOU ARE AWSOME!!! Now tell me were you this fast when you got them or does the axis help you that much?

  • @brake851 I was faster ;) I still have to get used to the Axis, haha.

  • @LukeSnyderMusic would you do a vid on the swivle please? i really want to learn it

  • I had AL2 longboards didn't like them. I'm going to reinvest in single pedals though A21s played them they're sick.

  • Mate start doing covers you are so good :)

  • Great foot work, love those pedals too. I have a single : (

  • those look so awesome! Once again great video bro!

  • Luke man !

    your awsome !!!

  • where did you buy those from? nice drumming!

  • Awesome shit my friend!

    they look so cool =)

  • @borjita696969 Thanks Borja! Axis are pretty awesome :D

  • YAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!

  • is getting better pedals a good way to get faster? i play on nameless crap pedals that came with my e-kit (two different electric bassdrums with two electric pedals) and my max is around 145 when i try hard. i feel like this is about as fast as these guys can go, would getting better pedals (in the pearl eliminator/iron cobra range) help with this?

  • @allmetaliswelcome Well, I want to be careful answering a question like this, because getting new pedals won't make you any better! However, there are definitely situations where the pedals are inefficient and are actually holding you back. However, the difference will usually be something more like 10 bpm at the top of your range, or something. Even on the crappiest of pedals, I can blast at 200 easily ;) It sounds like you need to learn ankle motion, my friend!

  • @LukeSnyderMusic yea i wasn't nescssarily talking about going faster, but breaking limits, since they really don't go faster than 145...

but i guess it's ankle motion then... but that's so abstract to me :)

  • @allmetaliswelcome Ankle motion it is ;) Check out what George kollias and Derek Roddy have to say about all of that, those are the guys I first learned from.

  • @LukeSnyderMusic i'll do mate. isn't it just learning to play the heel down motion with your heel off the ground (thats what i've seen some guys saying) cause i don't think it's that simple is it?

  • @allmetaliswelcome Basically, thats it. Its difficult to get used to, and it feels like you won't be able to control it when you start, but it eventually happens!

  • So the Sonic Hammers are too heavy, but those giant Pearl ones are just fine? :P

  • @DarknessDrawsCloser Actually yes! The Sonic hammers weigh like twice what the Pearl ones do... the pearl ones are made of plastic, and the sonic hammers are made of steel. They're just a lot heavier! It surprised me too, because the hammers look light.

  • Yay Luke!!!

  • I love Luke Snyder!

  • Not fair!! I want those too :D

  • @joeydrummer19 Hey, thats the goal!

  • The voiceovers <3 hahaha

  • Ya they are solid pedals, heavy ass beaters too. How's the spring tension on them? I've got my 5000s cranked

  • @BurnThePope0514 I don't have the tension high on my Axis at all right now, I probably will wind up using a much higher tension though.

  • @joeydrummer19 For sure, I have a ton of ideas for double bass lessons. I was just doing some left foot exercises today, actually. I'd like to share some!

  • Holy crap congrats Luke!

  • god your such a good drummer! i would kill to be able to drum like that

  • @jackmaggotdude There are soooo many guys out there that can destroy me though! I was just watching one :P But thanks for the kind words :D

  • Oh and nice single foot blasting. Foot work is getting much tighter. Good shit

  • Awhile back I made the choice to get a pdp rack and some dw 5000's instead of some Axis A's. Tough choice

  • @BurnThePope0514 The 5000s are great pedals though! You can't really go wrong with them, I was actually talking to the guy who designed them the other day.

  • Great for you!!!

    sad for me :-(

  • @TheHopelessDrummer Hey, just save for awhile!

  • congrats bro.. now it'll take you days to get used to it.. cheers!

  • @DruBlast Yup, it shouldn't be too long! I'm messing around with lots of different settings too, haha.

  • sick d00d

  • Great! Now there's nothing that would slow you down! :D

  • @ThexteraDrummer Except myself, haha.

  • @LukeSnyderMusic Practice practice practice! ;)

  • yyyyyöaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 0:00

  • ;)
