  • My dad was a lp record dept. manager for Sam Goodies music store and he brought home many demo records. On Sundays he and my mom would play everything from opera to folk from all over the world in many different languages. Thanks to them I am an open minded listener of music.

  • I grew up listenning to a very wide range of music and like my mom and dad can appreciate many sorts. My mom told me what her grandmother told her, a true lover of music loves many kinds of music.

  • @TheHeartmindsoul pp we had some in similair.. for me it was my dad, he and his brothers where great music lovers, they played difirent kind of intstruments...he loved music from all over the world as long it was a pleasure to listen at...

So did my mam.. there taste was different but some how the melted together in their lives.. so we grow up with music from all places.. so music is and was my first love ;-D

  • This is breathtaking and truly unique! I love music that breaks down cultural barriers and this certainly does. When it comes to music, it's a small world after all.

  • @TheHeartmindsoul - me too - i do love music that breaks cultural barriers down.. the world is small after all, humanity wants to make it bigger than this world is ;-D

  • Wow!! The more Mami I hear, the more I love :-) Hadn't really thought much about the history of bagpipes. I love them (in my genes!), but I'm just finding out how many different countries use some kind of bagpipe in their traditional music. This is amazing stuff. Thanks!! :-)

  • The same is happening to you as it has happens to me...when i heared Mami from the first song i falled in love with the way he sings and the music he use... the more i hear it the more i love it.. ;-D

My Mother did love the bagpipes,, it is funny, i like them as much even my son gets chicken skin when he is listning, you had to try the 1000 bagpipers coming down from a mountain...

    Kind regards
