The officers got called out there by a resident that was tried of seeing drunk/high people loitering in front of his house. Can you blame no? Can you blame officers for responding to the call? aha, thats how it is in Bradenton............the fuckin BPD is so GRIMMEY here, they just killed a dog for NO reason. picked up a 2 by four and MURDERED a dog, the SHERIFFS DEPT. I have mixed feelings. I had to deal with these drunks quite a bit when working in Sarasota. When sober, most of these guys are ok and wouldn't hurt a fly. When drunk, they are mean, violent, and out of control. Very few are "friendly" drunks like Otis Campbell. Most come from up north when it is cold and know they won't freeze to death when passed out. They are a threat to themselves and need help. However, I believe one is responsible for their own actions. This poor goof, what to do?

I go to Riverwalk all the time. Yeah, once in a while there's a bum or a (shutter to think) somebody who doesn't have white skin!

If you grew some balls and actually lived a life not in a perpetual state of fear, you'd realize how completely safe it is.

They need to get rid of the bums. Millions spent on River Walk project so families can stay away because of the drug dealers, vagrants and pan handlers. Cant even find a bench to sit now. Cops say they dont care what they do and go back to hanging around out front of the police station there pretending not to seethem and all the illegal aliens hanging out there.
