July/2011. Happy Birthday to the man that started it all. Many happy returns of the day Bill Haley. "Shake Rattle and Roll", became the first international rock and roll hit in 1954 reached #7 on Billboard.
I could be wrong but this is the only song that I know of that. Scott n bill black did the back up vocals. In my opinion is the best version by far even better than the original version
Elvis will definitely always be the one and only "King Of Rock 'N' Roll". I loved this video immensely, 10 Stars as always Jackie. Elvis has the greatest fans by far.
Written by Jess Stone using the pseudonym Charles E. Calhoun. Elvis recorded it February 3, 1956 at RCAs New York studios. It was the A-side to Lawdy Miss Clawdy and is available on For LP Fans Only, Elvis Presley, Good Rockin Tonight, Great Performances, and The King of Rock n Roll-The Complete 50s Masters.
